Ruby Ella Sweets, LLC

I was told by word of mouth about Ruby Ella Sweets so we stopped by today. This candy store did not disappoint. It is soooo cute inside and very nice hospitality too. There is a variety of candy, sweet treats, chips- you name it. I spotted one of my favorite things I used to enjoy a lot as a child (pickles and peppermint sticks). My eyes instantly got big and I had that same childhood feeling. I even sat in the car and enjoyed every bit of it. I will definitely be back and totally recommend this business.

The sweets are fabulous best cupcakes I have ever had & the pound cake is fantastic

So found this place by chance. No other place in my area that makes pound cake and I saw that she did. Went in one Saturday and of course she was sold out of the mini ones that she makes on the weekend. So I ordered a whole one and in a few days my husband had his pound cake that he absolutely loved. I loved that it was made fresh, the owner Shawnda was very friendly, she evened texted me to see how we liked it. Talk about top notch business service!

Ruby Ella's, a candy store, is located in the Shops in Sterling in downtown Flossmoor. It's small, but it has an enormous selection of candy, chips, popcorn, baked goods, and drinks. There's even some hard-to-find candy I've gotten for my dad from when he was a kid. Shawnda is so friendly and she looks out for the kids who come in after school. I also worked with her on a project for my daughter's birthday. We can't give food for birthday favors anymore, but she specially made gift certificates for each child in my daughter's class. She went above and beyond in every way.

Lots of candy variety at a great price. Cute store and wonderful owner!! My son and I loved our visit. We don't live in the area but we'll definitely be back!

I ordered a pound cake for my mom’s 80th birthday which happens to be her favorite cake. She loved it so much that I almost didn’t get a slice, however I was able to persuade her seeing that I was her first born lol.
