I just spoke to Raquel over the phone. I need to get a prescription filled and I need to get pre authorization. . She was great. She listened to my questions before answering. She has the perfect accent that I could understood . She talked without sounding like she was in a hurry. She explained how the pre authorization process works. She really wanted to help me and I can sense her dedication in a very stressful environment . Every time I went there , there was a line. I presume that people who pick up prescriptions might be irritable because they are sick and the staff there has to deal with and put up with that day in and day out. Thank you Raquel and the staff of this Walgreens. The score of 2.9 is not warranted as it deserves 5 stars.

I recently shopped at Walgreens a couple days ago. Looked for a nearby drug store to add Cash to the Lyft riding App. As i proceeded to perform this transaction, i found the person waiting on me to be so helpful and attentive to my needs. This impressed me that a store that has been in the neighborhood for years was missed by me. Now, after visiting this store twice in the last week, i've decided to make Walgreens my drugstore of choice for now on. The store is not as busy as CVS, the employees are much nicer towards their customers, and they have a bettter selection of candy and food items, appliances, and accessories for cell phones that their competitor has decided to stop selling. It feels more like an old fashioned store that i grew up as a child, and this is what i prefer. The kind of store where you can find rubbermaid storage containers, can openers and blenders, sundries, cosmetics, and gift items. This store reminds me of Long's Drugs, which was a staple in the SF Valley for decades.

Definitely try shopping at the Tarzana store. It may not be a big store, but it has a neighborhood feel that is preferable over huge chain stores that give little customer service. Great job Walgreens. 👍👍👍

Outstanding Customer Service provided by Roberto, Sung, the Manager, and the friendly and professional man working in the Pharmacy! They all went above and beyond to make my shopping experience super!

Very Busy but I can relate to the Pharmacy field. I always get great help and the Pharmacist knows me by my name. I am a Pharmacy Tech but now taking full time care of my special needs daughter.

The cashier A**** is very helpful and really made my day. Very charming dude

Clean and convenient , pharmacy has limited hours but always fast and efficient with a friendly staff !

We’ve been coming here for 13 years. I switched our prescriptions from CVS so I could have shorter lines and familiar faces. Yes, the pharmacy does check for ID if they don’t recognize you (especially with masks or new employees). No big deal. My only complaint is that they need a security guard at entrance to monitor sick homeless and maskless folks.

Always nice to visit Walgreens. They have awesome stuff for good prices.
