Had an excellent experience with Jim today.
Very knowledgeable and was able to taste some bourbons I was interested in. Walked away with a couple bottles. The selection overall is good. Not the biggest place in the world but the quality is there and plenty of rarer stuff that I haven’t seen available locally. Prices for most bourbons are the lowest I’ve seen.
I will be back!

Good burboun selection. They even let you taste their popular or new items. Very good customer service and knowledge of their products. Worth the trip. They are doing a good job remodeling their store too.

I went here for the first time today and absolutely loved the place!
I went to pick up a Remus Repeal Reserve batch V bourbon I was looking for and also picked up a MM46CS. I met the store owner and we talked for a good 30+ minutes. A truly good guy looking to do what he can to get repeat customers. Everything on his shelves are at SRP and he's got a huge bourbon/Rye/Irish selection as well as a couple of store picks to choose from. Maker's Mark with the new stave profile, as well as a Heaven's Door single barrel cask strength which is essentially jack daniels barrel proof sourced in the Heaven's Door brand for 10 bucks cheaper than what JDSiBBP sells for.
Each purchase of a store pick gives you an entry into a lottery for an allocated bottle (GTS 2020, RR13 are two in the current lottery).
This store is doing it right choosing to offer their product at suggested retail looking for that repeat customer to help him move inventory to bring better and more products at retail to his clientele. I'll definitely be going back. Highly recommend Tomar's for anyone who's in that area, or passing by it.
