Smith's Market

Smith's Market has been on my "visit someday" list for decades, and we finally made it! We were all like the proverbial kids in the candy shop, rushing from one aisle and bin to another. It was impossible to take it all in. We each got our favorite cold drink, a sackful of candy and gag gifts. I will be back next time I am in Hutchinson, for sure.

One of my favorites places ever. We find so many new goodies every time we go, but some of the things we pick up every single time: the yoder cream cheese, the brioche bread, veggies, the lemon snaps, and the blocks of cheese in various flavors - we switch it up. The peaches they had in the fall were phenomenal. Always love heading to Hutch for a trip to Smith’s!

Love this place. Not only is it a great fruit and veggie market, they have all kinds of things you would never find at a big box store. Nostalgic central! The candies, the taffy, the sodas, the nuts, the large variety of Kansas made products! You will find something for everyone here.

I've been shopping at Smith's for years. They have so many unique food and non-food items, plus essentials like spices, fresh produce, snacks, coffee, and tea. It's usually pretty busy, so it gets a little crowded, but it's still worth a stop to at least look around.

My friend introduced me to Smith's Market and I will go back again. Fun, memories, and exploring new items. Kids would enjoy the blast from the past! Friendly, helpful staff too!

Smith’s Market is a great place to shop for your produce and candy. The fruits and vegetables are fresh. Never disappointed when I come here. They also have specialty toys, salsa, barbecue sauces, granola, trail mixes, dried fruits and veggies, taffy, they have something for everyone. Definitely a gem of a shop in Hutchinson!

Always a fun place to shop. Good assortment of seasonal fruits and veggies and then candy, pasta, coffee, snacks, nuts, salsa, and on and on. If you leave there empty-handed there's something seriously wrong with you (or you haven't looked hard enough)!

VISIT THIS SHOP! Talk about going back to the past! This is purely nostalgic! My husband suggested we go in this shop and I was hesitant, thinking it was just another grocery store...but I was so wrong! This store is so fun and we loved jumping back into the past! I even found a baton in their novelty toy section! They had a huge selection of candy. We tried the chocolate raisins and the wasabi mix and they were both good. They had candy from ages ago-like candy cigarettes, dots and bazooka and more! They had fun items too! Friendly customer service, community based favorite, wide selection of deliciously yummy candies, always affordable and convenient. Many interesting options and items to purchase, plus the location of the store is perfect for everyone to visit.... 2 THUMBS WAY UP!!!!! See ya there :)))

What a great experience! Unique items, bulk candy galore, great displays of fruits, tasty snack and coffee samplers! Worth the trip from Wichita.

5 stars for coolness. It's hard to cover everything about this place. Fun to visit, looking around. Lots of snacks, candy, soda's, produce, coffee's so much to mention.

TONS of so many different kinds of candy!! Such a cool place, definitely a place to take the kids-they will have a ball. I could spend hours in here looking at how many different kinds of candy, trail mixes and snacks and even nostalgic toys and items they have for sale. Very neat place, love stopping in.

Employees are willing to come outa the woodwork to help me find less-than-common items. Btw, they do carry cacao as well as unsweetened coconut flakes!

Great variety of produce, nuts, candy, soaps, pickeld items, grind your own coffee, bulk spices and much more. Specialty items from local small businesses. Must go explore!

We love the atmosphere of Smiths Market. One of our favorite places to check out and see ways fun and or tasty things we can find. Staff are always friendly answering any questions we have. The store is always well stocked and clean. Our kids love the candy selection as well. Well so do I since they normally have zotz need I say more!?!

Wonderful family owned business, great atmosphere, cool variety of so many things, great for fun gifts!! Elderberry concentrate-important for immune systems boost!! Great selection of old time candy favorites. Fun place to shop for unique Christmas gifts!

I have shopped at Smith's Market in Hutchinson, Kansas a couple of times while I was in Hutchinson. This store is awesome. I love it! You have got to check it out for yourself. It is definitely worth the drive from Wichita, Kansas. I strongly recommend going to Smith's Market in Hutchinson, Kansas. Keep up the great work. May God bless you always!

The candy is always a treat and its the best place to find gluten free products.
The prices are surprisingly good and the workers are just lovley.
