Whistle Stop Cafe'

I’m not one to write reviews but this one definitely deserves it. I was working in the area and just happened to see the business sign as I drove by. I turned around and stopped to give it a try. The food was very good and was brought out in a timely manner. The service was fantastic and the restaurant was very clean. I would recommend you stop and give it a try.

Our first visit and every detail was perfect! The menu has so many choices. The Food was delicious. We had meatloaf. I ordered it because I saw someone's when it was delivered. The meatloaf was perfect. The vegetables were excellent. I am so impressed by the food. The Coconut Cream pie was... I'm trying to come up with a word to describe it that will explain it is much better than wonderful, delicious and perfect.

The cafe is charming. A relaxed, feels like home, comfortable feel. The service was very good. The two people we talked with, one was the owner, were warm, friendly and genuinely seemed happy to see us. The cafe clean and the bathroom was, as well. Nice music was playing and it wasn't too loud.

I am known for being hard to please. Before college I worked in a restaurant and a pretty good idea what makes for a Five Star experience. We do not live in Cherokee County; however, we will make a special trip to Centre for a superb meal often.

Check them out. Very friendly folks, open to suggestions and a home style atmosphere. We’ll be back for sure. Sunday— Monday 11 am to 3 pm; Thursday— Saturday 11 - 8. Hours will expand in the near future.

Whistle Stop is AWESOME. Great food, Great Service. Best place to eat in Centre. It's a definite must go.

The first time I tried Fried Green Tomatoes was awesome flavor. Place is so clean and The owner was working very hard to please everyone eating in dining room. I give the fresh food and servers a 5 stars. Thanks for staying open and making awesome changes.

Horrible location, food tastes like old oil. Same owners as Hometown. nothing changed except the name, same awful food.

This place can change the name as many times they want to, food is horrible. Yes, was Hometown same owners.
