Altos de Jalisco Ashburn VA

I recently dined at Altos de Jalisco and had an absolutely delightful experience. The food was exceptional, bursting with authentic Mexican flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. However, what truly set this restaurant apart was the remarkable staff. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests from the moment I and my family stepped through the door. Altos de Jalisco is a gem of a restaurant where delicious cuisine meets impeccable service. Five stars without a doubt!

First time here and the fried pork was delicious. My friend got a margarita flight of raspberry, passionfruit, mango, and regular that she really enjoyed. The pina coladas were awesome. There was a party of 20 in the restaurant and the table service was still good. Look forward to coming back.

We came here on a Sunday, I’ve craving arroz con pollo and it’s been really hard to find a place around that makes authentic arroz con pollo.
My friend recommended me this place.
Food was delicious!
My husbands Michelada was ok.
Our server had an attitude, God knows why but we enjoyed the food.
A manager stopped by to check on us.
We will come back just for the food :)

Altos de Jalisco is amazing!!! It has taken over as my #1 Mexican food spot over Plaza Azteca in the area. Great flavor along with amazing drinks. You won't be disappointed. It's legit.

Altos de Jalisco has quickly become one of my favorite Mexican spots, and that's saying A LOT! The food is fresh, flavorful, and delicious! If you like fajitas, I highly recommend the Fiesta Parradilla for two. Add grilled shrimp, and you will not be disappointed! These pictures are from three different visits, and everything has been on point each time...including the staff and service!

We had heard that Alto de Jalisco in Ashburn had really good food, so we went last night. We were pleased. The food is awesome and at a perfect price. The menu has everything you want. The food is not salty and nicely spiced. The staff is very attentive and kind. This is our new affordable place to dine out. We look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Whoa 😳 that’s some great strip mall Mexican food, well above average. The carnitas and the molcajete were on point! So filling and flavorful grilled chicken, steak, pork, and shrimp. We will be coming back!

So good! We had the best time. I'm from TX and loved having a really good Molcajete! It was such a generous portion as well. The torta was a great balance of ingredients - not bread heavy. We didn't get a picture of our ceviche appetizer, that was a fun start. Carlos helped us pick out what to get and was a great host. Brought home leftovers and planning on going back!

Great service, the food was absolutely amazing. The restaurant in general was absolutely beautiful. All of the food tasted fresh and delicious, will come again.

Very very good Mexican food. Service was very nice and they were fast, but not so fast you didn't enjoy it. We split the Molcajete and we were stuffed. The only thing we missed was a margarita, because we heard they were fantastic. Next time!

The Food is wonderful, my kiddos crushed the adult tacos and they even told me “mommy, it’s delicious “! The molcajete and carnitas are excellent no doubt hecho en casa (home made). Good customer service. Can’t wait to be back !

Best authentic Mexican food in the area! Definitely not a Tex-Mex! The only place in Northern VA I have been able to find enchiladas verdes and moles (which I am very thankful for)! Look for good Mexican and Latin food this is the place to go!

10/10!!!! sooooo good! customer service 10/10!! I love restaurants with less than 5 locations… Food was tasty and super authentic:).. I will be back for sure.. I had the tex mex chicken tacos on the hard shell soo yummy! ; but the star is their Mango Margarita (frozen)12oz .. that is all you need. It is a bit strong so one will get you just right 😌😊🤪.. Thanks for making my first visit awesome! I also got the churros to go-! tried the ice cream when i got home.. OMG! cinnamon vanilla flavor.. and the churros are excellent!! Keep up the great work!!

We really enjoy Altos de Jalisco, never disappoints! The enchiladas and the carnitas especially are on point. They have a great Monday margarita deal also!

Super clean, spacious restaurant, prompt service and delicious food. Loved the chips! The drinks were tasty but we couldn’t taste any tequila in either drink. Good prices.

I love Altos de Jalisco - I've been there like 20 times this year. Food is always good and they probably have the best, most authentic/traditional carne asada tacos in the area. The meat they use in their tacos is cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and so tender. Best thing is that their tacos are consistently great every single time I've eaten there, and I always order the same item from the menu. Their salsa is good and fresh - you can tell it's homemade and not out of a jar. Their fresh margaritas are always good and a must. Service is always friendly and excellent. Their tres leches cake is so good. I wish I could post a picture of their tacos but I enjoy their food so much that taking a picture doesn't even cross my mind. Highly recommended!!

First time visiting after hearing a friend’s recommendation. The atmosphere was “authentic”, beautifully decorated for the holidays and the food and drinks were amazing. Our waitress was awesome as well. And if it couldn’t get any better it was half price fahitas and a special on margaritas. We ended the evening with fried ice cream…best ever. If you haven’t eaten there you’re in for a treat!
