Best little bakery in town. The owner has exceptional knowledge and is creating outstanding products. You must try the cinnamon babka!

Great baked goods! Everything from loaves of bread to pastries. Only open a couple days a week and they sell out fast, so get there early! Friendly service!

Baking by Numbers has delicious croissants, breads, and other baked goods. The croissant dough is light, flaky, and crisp. They sell out fast! Service is very pleasant and they will not make you feel rushed even when busy. You can also catch them at the Vestal Farmer’s Market by the Vestal Library on Wednesday and Saturday mornings during the summer.

We spent $20 on 3 chocolate croissants and 2 mini-babkas.

There is no on site parking that I could see, you would need to park on the street or in a public lot. We parked in the lot by the CVS a couple blocks away and walked. I failed to notice if there is a step leading into the entrance or if there is a bathroom but will note and update review on a future visit!

We are extremely fortunate to have Baking by Numbers in our corner of the world. The baked goods are exquisite, of course (witness the other reviews). Bread is my comfort food and theirs NEVER disappoints. That said, it is the earnestness and kindness if the baker and her staff that puts the place over the top for me. I visit about once a month and always leave with a smile on my face. A wonderful place to geek out about bread and baked goods!

I have never had pastries like this! The attention to detail is amazing, from the taste to the looks, down to the little hand written message on the box! These girls knocked it out of the park! I have only had the pleasure of meeting Nasia so far and let me tell you, you will never meet a kinder person!

We stopped by at the soft opening of Baking by Numbers. I wanted to share a picture of the beautiful, melt in your mouth brioche we bought, but it was eaten before I could take a picture! The owners are delightful and the bread and pastries we purchased were out of this world delicious! I expect them to do very well here! I should have asked where they got their name. Double check the hours before you drop by. I'll be back, absolutely.

Really happy this is in Owego. Only things that would make it better: some wifi and cozy couches, more hours, and cheesy breads and even a pastel de nata. They are skilled to make anything and we loved everything we tried.

WOW!!!! This place is fantastic, with great prices for homemade, delicious food. The sweets are so enjoyable and the loaves are out of this world. They will always get my visit when I'm in town. Thank you for bringing a delight to our town.

The Lemon Tart with berries that I purchased from Baking By Numbers for our Mother's Day dessert this year was the best I/we've ever had! The flavor of the lemon curd had just the right amount of tartness and paired so well with the berries that were placed on the top. If you haven't tried this yet, please do! You will love it and want to have it again real soon, like me!

Baking by numbers is a much welcomed and needed addition to Owego downtown. I picked up a delicious multi grain seeded sourdough loaf, as well as some chocolate croissants for my coworkers. I also tried the lemon cornmeal cake; it was unbelievably delicious! Light and moist with the perfect balance of lemon and sweetness. The staff was very friendly and informative; after my first trip today I definitely plan on becoming a weekly visitor.

Fresh, locally sourced ingredients baked into artisan breads and pastries - all served up by some of the nicest young ladies you'll ever meet. The next time you're craving fresh bread, something that smells exquisitely of cinnamon, or just about anything that can be described as having "flaky layers" this should be your go-to spot. Prices are also reasonable for the quality and care that goes into the finished product.

Brought a bunch of baked treats from here to work and have been employee of the month for the last 3 month and still going! It was that good! Absolutely amazing place with fantastic food that is made with care.

I'm so excited about this new bakery. I met up with my parents here, as Owego is a good half-way point for us. I especially loved the pastries: the chocolate babka was melt-in-my-mouth delicious. My parents got the croissants and loved them. And I took a slice of the hazelnut buckwheat cake home--it was wonderful! The owners are friendly, and the shop itself is bright and clean. I highly recommend it!

Great little bakery in the heart of Owego. We've tried Babinni (like a cinnamon roll...comes in chocolate or cinnamon flavors) breakfast roll....Danish. We liked the cinnamon rolls so much from our first visit we went back.....so definitely recommend trying this bakery. There was freshly baked bread available as well whi h looked delicious. Lots of on street parking. Hours as of now are Thursday-Sunday

Great bread and pastries. We have tried their sourdough, multigrain and rye breads as well as several of the other pastries. Also, super friendly.

Only place to get good handmade sourdoughs in the area. Also good selection of baked sweet treats. All made in-house with many locally sourced ingredients.

The best pastry ever here in NYS. Very good variety of baked goods that I would recommend everyone to go try it out there.
