UMAI Hot Pot & Asian Cuisine

This is a great place! I had a good time there and enjoyed it! The hot pot was delicious 🤤, egg rolls was amazing 😋, the Japanese beer 🍻 was great too! The waitress was smiling and pleasant 😃!

Loved it! Really great food and a big menu with lots of options. Big dining room with great ambience and music. Our server was also super nice and attentive. Highly recommend!

July 2023: This place was amazing. The food was super good and the staff was very friendly and outgoing. The spicy Korean beef noodles were so good, lots of flavor and spiciness! The spicy ramen was not very spicy at all and honestly had more of a ginger flavored broth, I wasn’t a fan of it but it wasn’t bad, I just expected more spice to it but it was very subtle. We also got the spicy edamame bites and they were amazing! Overall this place is super good and the atmosphere and staff members are very welcoming, will be coming back for more!!

September 2023: they helped me celebrate my birthday and were so nice the whole time, they sang and all! The staff here are so amazing and always go above and beyond. This place deserves to have lines out the door at all times!

Glad we stopped and ate lunch here! The service was great. She was funny and engaged and made us feel like family. The Korean Wings were amazing. I would eat 10 orders of that if I could. Loved the beef and chicken hotpot. The hot oil on the table was a great addition. Can’t wait to come back!

A must try beef soup and the bean paste soup(pork belly) a really good way to have a sweetest within the soup on a cold day. Wings aren’t too bad either, nice flavor though!

I just went today and had an incredible time! We ordered the seafood soup, yogurt drinks, and the dessert at the end. Every bite I took just blew my mind! The soup was so flavorful and you really do get a good variety of things in the soup. The drinks were delicious too. Our server, Alexis, was so kind and sweet and very helpful, she truly enhanced the experience. This is definitely my new favorite place. Will be coming back again!

Why is this place not packed every night???? Amazing food, the croquette and beef hot pot was to die for. The customer service was also excellent and very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back and spreading the word about this place!

Great food and service. Food was fresh and delicious. We ordered California Sushi, Korean Spicy Noodles, Spicy Chicken Ramen. California Sushi was top notch and the other two were also great. It was a little bit on the spicy side than we expected, but tasted good and the service was also great. Will definitely recommend.

We orderd Jajangmyeon, chicken, side bulgogi everything was so tastyy😆 the owner was so nice she gave us yakrut because of the wait. Great foood🤤🫶🏻🍀

Best new restaurant in NWA in quite some time. UMAI has an amazing fresh take on Asian flavors with superb appetizers and their take on Hot Pot that outshines many other fine Asian restaurants in the area. The atmosphere and service was outstanding. Our servers were not only a joy to talk to but had a true passion for the restaurant and it’s food. The Korean Wings are some of the best chicken wings we’ve had, and we’ve had quite a few. The Jalapeño Bomb was a creative and tasty starter, think a fried jalapeño sushi roll. I highly recommend the Beef Bulgogi Hot Pot, absolutely delicious. Portions, especially the Hot Pot, are quite plentiful and the fresh ingredients including multiple mushroom varieties and the best broth I’ve found locally, make it well worth the price.

Food was great, we had the fried pork dumplings as a starter (best in the area), the spicy chicken noodle, and Bulgogi hot pot for our meal. All of the food was great! Full of flavor and delicious 🤤. I love how they do not hold back on the protein, although we have plenty of leftovers, there is still a lot of meat in our take home. We had two servers and they were also great. They did not rush us and check on us regularly to ensure we were satisfied. We even had a conversation with one of them for a few minutes and she genuinely seemed like she was interested in talking with us. We will absolutely be returning to this establishment!

The best asian restaurant we have found in NWA. The rice is perfect. The hot pot broth is one of the best things I have tasted and I never like soups. Will be back many more times.

This place was absolutely amazing! As soon as I walked in I LOVED the feel & vibe of the restaurant. The server was such a sweet girl & was very attentive! Our order was taken quickly, our appetizers came out quick & so did our food! We drove over 1 1/2 to try this place so we got enough to feed 5 people for 2 of us. (LOL) We got the Spring Roll (5pc), Pork Dumplings (8pc), & Sweet Chili Edamame as our appetizers. (ALL SO AMAZING) I got the Seafood Hot Bowl w/ Ramen. (So much flavor & SO many different seafood choices in one bowl.) I’m not sure what my bestie got but hers was SOOO good as well! I’m sure you’ll see her review on here too though. (; 100% recommend to everyone I know! Try it out!

My friend and I tried Umai for the first time tonight and it was a great experience! Our waitress Alexis was so kind and funny. We ordered spicy Korean noodles, beef hot pot and Korean fried chicken. It was all so fresh and delicious! We will be back!

The food was AMAZING and the staff were SPECTACULAR!!! I arrived unknowingly a few minutes before closing and they kindly sat me for service immediately. I can’t describe how nice everyone was and how awesome the food is. I’m definitely going back to try more of the wonderful menu!!

Service was fast and friendly and they had seats available when we went. The waitress was super helpful and explained everything. We had the fied pork potstickers which were delicious! Also shared the beef bulgogi hot pot which was more than enough for two of us - the broth and the beef were both SUPER flavorful, and it was packed full with delicious fresh veggies and mushrooms. We added the egg which came Rae and we stirred it into the hot broth - it made the soup super creamy and added flavor too - I'd highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back to try more on the menu!

Honestly one of the best Asian cuisine experiences I've had. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. It didn't take long for our food to arrive and with their ordering system could have ordered more throughout our meal as needed. Their chili oil was fantastic, but then again, all of their food was! They have a great system of scanning a barcode to order online to your table, however, if you'd prefer they are also able to bring out menus. I had their beef soup, crab delights, sweet chili edamame, and fried philadelphia roll. Their soup could have fed both my husband and I (that coming from a plus sized woman). We will 100% be returning!

The food was absolutely delicious with clean ingredients. We ordered the Korean wings, the tempura veggies, and we each had our very own bulgogi beef soup. The service was excellent too!We will definitely be back for more!

I am completely in love with this place! My favorite place WAS Meiji in Fayetteville and while Meiji does still hold a special place in my heart, Umai has taken the number 1 FAVORITE spot! This food is SO yummy and light and fresh. The servers are AMAZING, the owner is SO sweet! I am very picky about my asian food. Im like…the worst critic so it’s rare when i rave about food like this. You NEED to try this place. You will NOT regret it. Beef bulgogi and the umai bean paste were the ones we got!

The food was amazing! Got the oh roll, hangover wings, hot pot. No complaints. The only reason service and atmosphere were 4 is that they were kinda dead. Service is a little slow. But can't go wrong food wise!
