CVS Pharmacy

Very efficient and knowledgeable and the team members are friendly to customers. As well as extremely helpful!

The staff is friendly, the store is clean, only wish it had a drive through.

Prices are higher than other pharmacies. Slow service. Always some kind of hassle with every CVS pharmacy.

Horrendous beyond description. I've been trying to call for HOURS and nobody will answer in the pharmacy. I called the front of the store twice the first time I was transferred to the pharmacy and waited another 30 minutes on hold. I called the front end of the store back with my time sensitive simple request for the pharmacy and they took a message for me to hand deliver to the back of the store along with my phone number and the message that it was time sensitive. Nobody ever called me back. I called back an hour later and have been trying to get someone to answer for another hour now. At this point neither the pharmacy nor the front end of the store is answering the phone. It has now been 4 hours trying to get the pharmacy on the phone and I'm currently still waiting for someone to answer as I type this.

I just had a simple question. 35 hold minutes later, I realize it only takes 7 minutes to drive down there. I stay on hold for the drive. I get there and I'm expecting there to be a line, as per usual. No one is in line. I ask why no one answered. "We were working and we're about 1000 prescriptions behind" Answering the phone is part of "working" and that isn't my problem. I don't care if you're a million prescriptions behind. That's an internal issue that management should be dealing with.

Okay, fine you're understaffed and 1000 prescriptions behind and you're working as hard and fast as you can go.

And...? I feel for you. I really do. I worked retail for years. But that doesn't help me. I still have a simple question. What am I supposed to do? Just not call or come in? And this is the norm for CVS. It's like every time I have to deal with them. They've been perpetually 1000 scrips behind for years.

They don't answer the phone and even though they have 2 or 3 registers at the counter, the only ever open one so if you aren't on hold for an hour, you're going to wait in line for an hour. I know they're understaffed and I don't hold the individual employees accountable for this. This review isn't for them. It's for CVS as a company. I feel for the employees but I absolutely dread having to deal with CVS.
