Good food, nice people, great atmosphere

Went into swansboro today to walk around and see the historic area. This restaurant is the ONLY thing open there so we thought we'd give it a shot. The meal was hands down the most disappointing meal I've ever had at a restaurant. Not to mention way over priced. I ordered a chocolate milkshake which was just vanilla ice cream and a TON of chocolate syrup blended together, way too sweet as it felt like i was just eating cold syrup.
I ordered a double cheeseburger but received two single burgers instead. The burgers were so subpar that i had to dip each bite into ketchup just to add some flavor. They somehow managed to take all flavor out of the burger to the point where it felt like eating cardboard. My wife ordered onion rings ($4) and received 6 very average sized onions rings that were just drenched in grease. They tasted like someone had scraped the bottom of a deep fryer and sprinkled the crumbs on the onions rings.
Honestly so disappointed with everything about this experience.
