Queens Inn by the River

It’s all about service & location! We enjoyed every bit of things this place offered! Rooms are nice & cozy! Patio deck was perfect for relax & enjoy the drink with favorite person! Restaurant was great with some nice wine collections. Evening live music under the stars was highlight of our visit & we will return for more!

I am very meticulous, spent inordinate amount of time selecting this hotel prior to booking. It did not disappoint, exceeded expectations. The entire experience of this stay was exceptional. Room was very spacious, clean. bright, well appointed, every detail of essential amenity provided. Bed was very comfortable and conforming slept deep in complete peace. My favorite aspect of this hotel is location. It is set back from the road to have best of all worlds. Backing up to the river was the greatest to wake up to! In the morning heading to Yosemite the highway was conveniently accessible from up the long driveway. I loved having wine bar/restaurant on site although need to return to have a relaxing sit down dinner. One of the better restaurants in the area linked to this hotel. This hotel was just a perfect accompaniment to visiting majestic Yosemite. Loved it so much plan on flipping back next week. Steve and Jamie (Managers) both are highly competent, diligent, professional individuals. A hotel stay as magnificent as Yosemite, plan on flipping back ASAP before the snow starts.

Amazing place, superb service, great location. It was cheaper to book through another booking website. Very happy with the room, the location, the back garden and river area were so serene. Everyone we encountered were so helpful and kind, even when we had an issue with the fireplace. The food and wine were very good, I will come back here.

This place is a gem! I loved that its not far from Yosemite national park. The location is a little random tucked in the back but turned out to be amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Saturday night vibes are so fun here. Cute outdoor seating area for guests. Rooms are cute and clean and i love that they each have their own private outdoor patio with table and chairs to sit and enjoy nature. The river set’s just behind it and you can walk down and enjoy the view on a cute little bench. Sunday brunch was tasty at the idle hour winery just next door, which its free wine tasting for guests staying. Their Wines are delicious so of course i had to leave with a bottle of rose. I highly recommend and i will be returning soon

Great place to stay! Quite and a little ways back from the road. Lots of thoughtful details & amenities. Stays include a wine tasting at the on-site winery. Definitely go to Idle Hour the restaurant the is next door as well. Would 100% recommend staying here. Nice to come back & relax after a day of hiking in Yosemite. Only downside is that the wifi is mostly in the common areas.

Nice and clean rooms. Good location for a stop-over before entering Yosemite. You need to drive 1h30 to the Valley. The stuff is very friendly and on summer weekend they have live music. I can fully recommand this location to all the other people going to Oakhurst or/and Yosemite.

Cozy stay near to Yosemite. Nice bar and friendly staff!

We went to listen to live music, band Good Medicine. Wine, beer, appetizer dishes were available for purchase. They had mosquito repellent available to use for free. The outdoor patio was nice and comfortable.

The staff was extremely helpful. The inn is located in a beautiful location and the rooms are spacious and very clean! We had a wonderful stay! Hope to go back some day. Thank you Queen's Inn By The River!

Water got hot.

Exactly as it is described online. Its very cute and secluded, quiet with nice views. The room was very nice and contained all the expected amenities. The staff was super friendly and laid back! We wish we could have stayed longer and spent time at the winery! They have live music in the summer and we would love to come back here for it!

Rooms are the perfect size, beds are really comfortable and the bathrooms are amazing, the bathtub is perfect for a relaxing evening. The views out of the rooms are also just breathtaking. Plus having a small porch and being able to walk down to the creek like 50ft behind the property just makes this place the best spot for a weekend trip

We stayed there for a night. The room was specious and clean. We had a backyard with some chairs to relax in the morning. They surprised us with cookies which was a nice touch. We were there for a short time checking in at night and leaving in the morning, if we were to stay there for a couple of days I would recommend to book a larger room size then the basic queen.
All in all I would come back again. We saw black bears in the driveway to the parking lot so would not leave some food outside or walk around at night. But it's related to the whole area and not to the hotel specifically

Cute little inn! Dog friendly!! Which is the main reason I have stayed twice here. Room prices are very reasonable, with clean and spacious rooms. Gas fireplace is a nice ambience. The rooms have back doors to small wooden patios and access to the back field and river area. Easy check-in, they will leave your key for you after hours or if they're not there. Currently no breakfast during Covid (last visit was January 2022).
Close to all the stores and shops, restaurants of Oakhurst, and a great place to stay if you are exploring the Sierra National Forest. Also easy access to Yosemite.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice, local spot that we could take our 5 month old pup and this place did not disappoint! We ended up booking an additional night because we loved it so much :)
We thought just having the room and the peace and quiet was enough and then we discovered their delicious breakfast menu and winery... HEAVEN! Pleasantly surprised by this cozy spot with friendly staff and love how intimate and serene our stay was. Highly recommend!!

Very sad to leave this incredible cabin! We had a wonderful stay at Queens Inn. Nice staff and the bar has a great selection of beers and wine, perfect to end the day.

I had no idea what to expect, as this was my first time visiting Oakhurst. Let me just start off by raving about this place! I called a few hours ahead because I was checking in after hours, and with no issues they made arrangements. The next morning I met Patricia and she offered me delicious coffee and gave us great advice on touring through Yosemite. She was extremely helpful! Rooms were clean and view in the back is so cute. I stayed two nights. The last night I met the bartender, Lisa. She was very personable and I felt like I was talking to one of my friends. I highly recommend this place. It’s an 8 room lodge which makes it exclusive and staff is super friendly! Thank you so much to Patricia and Lisa for making my stay pleasant!

Nice, clean rooms. beautiful art in each room (art by Tim Cantor). lovely trees, birds, riverfront. peaceful. the winebar is open during the evening and the winery and kitchen is open during the day. great food with a menu that changes weekly. I love this place!

Cute and quant place. Loved the room. Clean and spacious. There was a fruit basket for us too. Unfortunately, we had to cut my trip short due to illness. We were supposed to stay 2 days but I got sick. The front desk was very helpful and understanding. Such a pretty place. Will be back. Very close to Yosemite, 30 min to entrance. 1 hour to Yosemite valley. Plenty of Options for food and Starbucks close by. Highly recommended .
