Mateo's Pizza

My wife and I consider ourselves pizza fanatics. Since our first date back in 1976 we have tried hundreds of pizza spots across the northeast. Mateo's is worthy of being added to our regular rotation list ! We certainly will make a return trip from Columbia County. Grandma's pie was awesome. GENEROUS toppings. Tossed salad ...enough for us to split........came with fresh greens not a pile of iceberg lettuce! Limited seating , appears to be mostly takeout but we were lucky enough to grab a table and eat in. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Top notch place !

UPDATE: 4 th time there yesterday, each time EXCELLENT !

I placed a large catering order for a party and the guy behind the counter was very helpful as well as polite. I wanted an item that wasn’t on the catering menu yet they still did it for me. The food was excellent especially their tortellini in cream sauce with prosciutto and garlic knots. Everyone at the party loved the food and wanted to know where it came from. Very satisfied with Mateo’s! They’ll continue to get my regular business as well as all parties.

Great place. Awesome food. Specifically recommend chicken 🐔 Roll. It tasted Yum 😋 . Also loved Garlic bread ... It was very different and had a great flavor.

Great food most of the time. Last time I ordered chicken parm and the chicken was not good. First time I didn't enjoy the food.

I find Mateo’s a little confusing as I’m sure most would. Looking around the kitchen the little Italian man most of us would expect to be behind the counter churning out pizzas is no where to be found but don’t let this dissuade you because these folks have pizzas figured out! I’ve eaten in house 3 X and got delivery tonight and every time the food was very good. Tonight what impressed me the most was that I was given the obligatory 45 minute delivery time and even though it was obvious that they were quite busy I actually got my order in just over 45 minutes . The only thing that I found remotely dissatisfying is that the order of wings was only 10 and that I received 3 drums ( the leg looking part for those that don’t know) and the rest were drumettes ( not my preference ) with that said they’ll definitely be getting more business from me

I found the margarita pizza to be extremely tasty. Upon walking into the pizza place right away my eyes fell upon their huge assortment of food. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other dishes they offer.

Extra bonus. The staff was very friendly and the establishment looked extremely clean.

I just tried this place for the first time. The pesto was amazing and meatballs were good. Even the salad was better than average. Prices are decent, staff is friendly, and food comes out quickly. Definitely will be going back!

Delicious food at decent prices. You get a lot. We received bread and salad with our dinner.

By far my favorite pizza in the area. Very family friendly and clean. The Margarita pizza is a must have as well as their tortellini dish. Amazing traditional recipes. It’s a must have with the family

My husband and I ordered a meatlovers pizza last night...it was amazing! There was no skimping on the toppings, the entire pizza was covered! Yum!

Amazing variety Of food, food is delicious, great staff, great customer service and they deliver. The Pizza is the bomb as well, great quality of sauce and cheese, no flops, What more do you want??
