Calm Waters Coffee

Nice spot for an afternoon cappuccino. The barista was skilled and the staff was friendly and despite a line up that rivals Starbucks at rush hour, we got our drinks quickly. The coffee was tasty. But everything got was served in paper take out cups.. which is too bad... A mug really makes the experience... I'll visit again though, for sure!

I would always get a cappuccino but this place really introduced me to cortados. And now I'm obsessed! It's the perfect afternoon 'pick me up'.
I enjoy working or just picking up coffee here. They have a warm ambience and an even warmer team.. Everyone is sweet and helpful. Perfect place to try a new coffee or meet a friend or sit and study.

I’ve loved their spot in Bristol PA, now I’m even more happy to have them closer to my house! Always great coffee and chai lattes (my fav), pastries and hope to get the breakfasts soon!

A pleasant cafe. Good wifi, lots of folks working remotely. The tea and pastries are average at best, but worth it if you need a place to hang out outside the house.

Calm Waters Coffee is the place to be! Excellent vibes, stellar coffee, and great collaboration with other local food folks in the area. Staff are warm and inviting, and bonus points that the owners are top tier humans doing good, good things in the world.

They had big shoes to fill after coffee room closed and they nailed it. Great atmosphere, great staff, and fantastic coffee.

They have great little treats, the Apricot Tart was amazing! Their coffee is delicious and the vibe is totally chill 😎 Great place to stop in for a sip and chat.

Excellent espresso. I am very picky with 10 years experience roasting green espresso beans and using an Italian lever machine. I recommend their espresso to stay, in one of the small, clear glasses. Let it cool just a little, and coat your mouth with each sip. It has a rich, full flavor that is hard to beat.

Calm Waters lives up to its reputation of having excellent coffee, masterfully prepared with a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.

They have a small but great selection of pastries (the beignets are awesome).

I will definitely make this my new local favorite!

Wonderful clear complex coffee. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very cute, clean and comfortable. Small batch coffee roasts for sale as well. So so good, will definitely be back! Thank you!

A superior cup of coffee! Stopped in for a couple coffees and a croissant to go - but the quality of the coffee stood out so much I wanted to leave a review! Croissant was perfectly buttery too. Beautiful space, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Very pleasantly surprised to stop by and realize this place is now Calm Waters from Bristol. I bought their beautifully roasted Peruvian beans as well and brewed a great cup at home this morning. Will be stopping by more when I am in the area!

Love the ambiance and coffee here! Studying here has been the best environment for me due to the calm music, adequate seating, and calming color scheme.

My only request: late night hours! I would love to study here in the evening or get coffee after dinner with my friends

Thuis is a great place. The coffee is excellent. I compared it with some coffee shops in Europe, but the Calm Waters was still the best.

So glad Calm Waters is in Newtown! I live closer to Bristol but I am in this area occasionally so it is very nice to have two options now! Love their oat-milk iced vanilla latte and the staff is great! Definitely have to try to keep up with my visits with my sister and our friends :)
