The associate who helped me deserves a ton of thanks. I needed a new battery and he helped me select one, and he even installed it for me (and did a very good job of doing so). Will definitely be coming back.

I had great experience at that store. Luke was very helpful to me and suggested the products that I need for my car. He was very welcoming and addressed all my questions. He installed the wipers for me and provided me with the best customer service that I ever had in an auto products store. Thank you Luke for your help!

Auto zone management should have a discussion with the gentleman who was running this place in Ashburn on 02/11/24 morning. This is to review how he treats his customers. I have never come across someone in Autozone who has been this rude. I entered the store and approached him. He was on the phone and not in a good mood and said with an unfriendly tone, “Go to the front of the store and stand in line”. There was no line anywhere and I was the only customer. He could have simply said, “I will be with you soon” or just don’t say anything or wave hands or something. I just needed couple of wipers. I asked him if he could help me to take one of the wipers out also but he did not respond. He was nasty with a younger guy in the store too. The younger guy came inside and was trying to show me available wipers for purchase. He then came out with me to help take the wiper out. The angry manager who was outside at that point asked him to go inside as both of them can’t be outside at the same time. But he won’t help me either and he went inside the store. I could not get this person’s name but he is a middle aged African American man. I will never go this store ever again. I do not know why was in such a bad mood. Perhaps he should have taken the day off and not work. This kind of customer service will only result in loss of business for autozone.

New store. Employees are pretty quick to offer help, although I've run into several who were still learning to work the cash register. That's fine - on the job training is to be expected.

I would wish for a little more motorcycle stuff, so I don't have to order it online, but that is probably unreasonable.

Edit: went in to get a battery. Employee refused to swap as it was raining a little. Neither of my credit cards worked. Employee shrugged, said there was a way to make a manual charge, but he didn't know it. Ended up going to Advance Auto Parts, where I got the same battery for the same price and they swapped it out for me. And their credit card reader worked.

Came in for zip ties for a 5 minute stop. Looked for them, asked, was told they were where I was looking, nope, went and found them and proceed to wait at the register for 15 minutes. My mistake I queued up in front of the guy who answered my question rather than the turnstile. He just pretended I wasnt there. then I am behind another guy in line who was doing some kind of custom order. Last time I come here.

What a terrible store. Why do you come to these parts stores - to help with battery and wiper changing. Twice now they have said they can’t do either.
Reasons given -

- it’s too cold - snow makes it unsafe
- I don’t know how
- we are short staffed - no customers in the store
- two employees - manager said he is not allowed to walk outside

Not making this up.

Went to Advanced Auto Parts around the corner and they were amazing.
