AMAZING!!! Good quality, prices were suuuuper cheap (it felt like we were ripping him off), variety of selection. There is so much yarn but that’s not all- there was lace, elastic, and zippers. Location was a bit sketchy but otherwise wonderful experience.

This place is a diamond in the rough! The owner, literally named Peter Patchis, inherited the business from his father, and knows his product like the back of his hand.
Don’t expect a salesperson out of him; he is kind and knowledgeable and helpful.

My friend and I found exactly what we were looking for, for our knitting projects. Mine was a royal purple chenille sport weight, and hers was a worsted weight pumpkin orange wool. The quality is higher than you’d ever see in a chain craft store, and the prices were beyond reasonable.

Be sure to call in advance. I arrived at 10 am on a Monday, and because there does not seem to be a lot of foot traffic, he may be between tasks if he can’t come to the door or phone. While I was there and he was helping me, the phone rang but he chose to keep helping me, and said he would call them back if they left a message. So if you call and no one answers, leave a message!

What a find this place is! I will definitely return for my next project.

Yarn and weaving heaven! Walked in and said "woah". I can see there are some amazing gems hiding in this place. Sold by weight. I got cotton at a great price and plan to return for more wool and maybe even some chenille or bamboo. At such reasonable prices and with all different cone sizes, this shop makes dream projects affordable. Widest variety available in RI as far as I can tell.

Amazing 🤩. Peter is so helpful and knowledgeable. I could have spent all day there. My best friend kept me in control as we plunged into multiple bins of yarn cones, and boxes of soft worsted wool skeins. I live in Upstate New York, and I can’t wait to visit RI and Peter Patchis Yarn again soon.

Follow the signs up the stairs and around the corner to a room bursting with cone yarn. Yarn is priced by the pound and sorted by material: cotton, wool, and acrylic. The staff's knowledge is impressive, and the prices and selection are worth the trip.

I visited today for the first time. I recently took up weaving and found this place online for yarn on cones. They have everything from knitting yarn to weaving yarn. The owner is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The prices are unbelievably good. I will definitely be back.

This place is amazing! Selling large spools and skeins, or you can trim off what you need (depending on the material) and buy by the pound. I even found some cording and zippers, though I would say this store is better for threads/yarns for knits, weaves and textiles. The owner is very friendly! It is not organized in any particular way-- something I personally prefer. Would highly recommend!
The entrance is on the side of the warehouse. Follow the signs up the stairs to the 3rd floor.

You'll probably wonder if you're lost or going the wrong way. You aren't. The signs are correct. Once you get in, prepare for the yarn. This isn't the average shop front with pretty wrappers. This is yarn on cones and lots of it. All those project ideas? Start thinking. I'll be back for sure.

Great! A feast for any yarn lover.

Went into the store after a winding trail in and up. When reaching the store it was a wow moment. My husband’s worse nightmare. I have been buying cone yarn for years, however I have never seen so much of it at once. Purchased hard to find cotton chenille have wanted for sometime. Also purchased elastic at an incredible price and draw string for my jp pants I make ( wish I had it before Christmas sewing).
Only draw back is you need the store managers full attention to find what you need.
