Helados Aranda

My first time here and it was great. My favorite snacks are hot Cheetos and cheese and corn in a cup. Sooooo I ordered both and mixed them together. It’s delicious you gotta try it.
The two women there are really nice and inviting. I’ll definitely be heading back to try the ice cream.

Have been coming here for about 8 months now. The service is great they are friendly and also offer tasting before you buy. they're ice creams are very flavorful and very creamy. They offer traditional and popular sweet mexican flavors like mazapan and so much more. I definitely recommend giving them a try. They do get busy at times, so the line could be a little wait. But I believe it's always worth it .

Delicious ice cream, super clean and child friendly. Staff was super nice and helpful since it was our first time, fruit cup was pricey but worth every penny, who else can mix all that fresh? Wheelchair accessible and child friendly. Highly recommend it!!

So so so good! Like everything! Today we got Banana nut, rice and pistachio! It’s seriously the best ice cream ever! Great customer service and super clean!

Ice cream is the best. Chill atmosphere. Service is excellent. Corn in a cup is great. Hot Cheetos with cheese are extra cheesy. Definitely recommend this place.

This little neighborhood ice cream shop is a hidden gem! They offer different flavors than most shops, like eggnog, cheesecake (blackberry and strawberry) honey and cream cheese, marzipan an,d blueberry, as well as standard flavors like chocolate (plain or with pecans) and hazelnut. A lot of the flavors are listed in Spanish so if you’re unsure, either ask or have your Google translator ready!
They also have sorbet and fruit (non-dairy) offerings. They will serve in a cup or cone and offer some toppings likes sprinkles and nuts.
They have pints to go as well and offer drinks, shakes (they can make any flavor into a shake) and mangonadas.
Their menu lists other snacks like frito pie - we enjoyed some Corn in a Cup and it was delicious!!.
But the real star is their ice cream. It is frozen soft but not melted or runny and it is so creamy. The texture is hard to describe - I have never had ice cream this creamy. It is so good!
Do yourself a favor and head over to this shop. They offer free tastes so you can experience all of the unconventional flavors and choose your favorite.

BEST MEXICAN TREAT SPOT IN SAN ANTONIO! I have been faithfully going here and there other locations. All are phenomenal! Great portions, reasonable pricing, and amazinnnngggg flavor! Homemade salsa and fresh ingredients!!! 100/10

Great place for real mexican snacks, my wife and I have been coming here for at least a year, the mangonada is delicious specially when Guadalupe makes it!
We had the chips locos or tostitos preparados, they're made with cream, melted cheese, corn, salsa, they're just really good.
Great service, always clean and fruits are always very fresh.
Will keep coming back!

great tasting ice cream. tastes like how ice cream tasted as a kid when it wasnt full of cheap ingredients like today. definitely my go to spot for ice cream now. lots of options and flavors too!

It’s always clean & smells so fresh when you walk in. I love ALL the ice cream, my favorite is the cajeta bars. Try it you will be pleasantly surprised.

Great place for tasty treats. I had a Rusa, very refreshing, with a large cup of corn, sooo good, lots of flavor. I want to say my girlfriend had the Italian ice of coconut, very tasty also. This place was not crowded, pretty cheap, try them out, my 2 cents.

Amazing service! Very friendly. I love the big selection of paletas. I like buying a few and keeping them in the freezer for when I’m in the mood for one. The aguas frescas are so good! I got watermelon, strawberry, and cucumber/ lime. They are so refreshing. It tastes like eating a bowl of fresh fruit.

The costumer service is awesome! The esquites are delicious, is like having an esquite in Mexico, really authentic 💞

Just came back from purchasing a few paletas but decided to get a cheese/blackberry scoop of ice cream and a fresh papaya water. Let me tell you… as soon as I tasted the papaya water, my brain took me to the place I was born, amazing memories with my family. All the love I was given, all the amazing food and fruits I was lucky to have for 20 years. Best papaya water I have tasted in many, many years. The ice cream was delicious. Pieces of cheese and blackberries all over. Made with seems, like whole milk. I haven’t tried the paletas but they look scrumptious too.
The place is clean, the people attending is friendly and the prices are more than fair.
Over all a, “will be back again and again” place.

Always love the ice cream here! Everyone is super nice, place is super clean, and always a 10/10 experience. I tried their Mamey ice cream and I’ve been so hooked, especially with it being a flavor I haven’t seen anywhere else. Give it a shot if you haven’t already. :)

They have some great cold treats. We usually get the strawberry raspa with vanilla ice cream, pistachio ice cream cup. Sometimes we try other stuff which also hit the spot on a hot summer day. Highly recommend

Super fresh and amazing ice cream. I brought the kids here for a treat and they were fast and very reasonably priced, and they had a huge selection of ice cream and other snacks. 1,000 times better than a baskin robins.

You can't go wrong with Helados Arandas! Delish treats all the way around. I have had almost everything to eat except the Imperial and Stawberries n cream. Place gets busy after 6pm til about 8pm.
