Bullet Hole Gun Range

Great place to shoot handguns. Went on a Saturday morning, only 4 other shooters there, had plenty of space to feel comfortable about shooting. They supply a target, I brought more “shoot-n-see” ones, worked great. I was able to work on some new handguns.

I generally don't like public ranges much...RSOs that are disappointed there's not still a gestapo for them to join is usually the primary issue. For shooters like myself who know what they are doing and just want a great place to pew pew, the bullet hole is a great range. The best part is their private bays. There is a 2 hour limit on them, but it's basically like having your own range all to yourself. The wife and I had a great time. Gerard got us signed up and couldn't have been more professional. We'll definitely be back!

Prices are good, and the range officers are friendly and attentive. If you don’t have your own hand gun to shoot, you can rent one here. If you’re interested in shooting more exotic weapons to include automatic firearms, they can also be rented here too. I also like to come here for the private bays.

Good range and a great price. Super glad they have a very affordable membership price. Kids love it when we get a private bay (only a little more $)

Been a few times now and I would say I’m happy with this range. Staff is friendly and facility is nice. It’s outdoor which is new to me so if you are use to indoor ranges then you will have that to get use to.

My wife and I love shooting at this range. The staff is very professional and friendly. We usually shoot our pistols but today we brought our M1 carbine and the range instructor loved it and was very impressed at the condition of it. Every time we go all the other shooters are professional as well and everyone is safe. Definitely our go to range even though we live in Boerne.

Been going there over a decade. Great management and the range feels safe. Benches are a little worn and not level on the rifle ranges but i have my own equipment for that no biggie.

Bullet Hole is a class act place to shoot! Great staff... Great rentals... Excellent private bay with obstacles... All in all, A wonderful location to take the family... Have fun!

I've been going here for over 10 years. Let me just break it down for you in simple language. It's better than Nardis and the other new place up north. I haven't and probably won't ever buy a gun here because they don't carry much STI products but I always come back here to put myself through the paces of outdoor private bay shooting.

For the first time in my life I decided to going shooting with my friends. I am glad it was here, the staff was very helpful at informing you about gun safety and how to enjoy what you are doing all while being safe.

I really enjoy going here. I much prefer outdoor ranges to indoor ones. Great place to shoot and the private bays are the way to go. I met the owner today, Carrol Hester, and she was really nice. Keep up the good work!!!

Great facility for no-frills and good price. Staff is friendly, just remember they get a lot of people daily with no gun knowledge so they are probably sometimes a little frustrated. Range masters are helpful and commanding of their environment. Hope this place never gets sold to a developer!

Love the Bullet Hole! Very nice outdoor range. A good mix of ranges for rifles, shotguns, pistols even ranges for private groups. Everyone is always extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It’s a little bit of a drive for me but it’s pretty country and I enjoy the Bullet Hole so much it’s well worth the extra ride.

I've never had a positive experience with public ranges. I don't like to be babysat and be told I am not loading my magazine the proper way, or I am trying my shoes in the wrong place. Or there's always the tacticool douche bag trying to show off. Living in Washington, my husband and I started going to old logging roads to avoid the range nonsense. Don't think there's much of that in San Antonio.

The Bullet Hole was a fantastic experience. The private bays were worth the extra few bucks for a little more privacy. You aren't elbow to elbow with fellow shooters. I'm not sure how many private bays there are, but it's probably wise to get there early if you want a bay.

It's only $5 for the membership, then $16.95 for the bay. Obviously, if you need eyes, ears, or targets, you're going to spend more. The customer service was great, Garrett was very polite and helpful. Will definitely be back again and again.

Private bays are a huge plus! I've been to my fair share of ranges, and this one is terrific! If you're looking for a place to go practice, train, and just have some fun, this is the place. I agree, it's basic and customer service isn't the best...but if you get there, sign up and get to your bay, who even cares? The place is reasonably priced, but if you're in a group you might want to make sure everyone knows to pay for themselves as it can add up very quickly. Obey the rules, be safe, and you'll have a great time here.
