While in town for work and the eclipse, I stopped for dinner. I was famished and asked what was the best seller.
The owner, Victor (or Vincent) pointed me to the bourbon burger. I did not disappoint. It was huge and delicious.

I’m usually pretty tough to please when it comes to burgers but this was exactly what the doctor ordered. Two perfectly
Cooked patties with sautéed onions, loads of melted cheese on a fresh AND GRILLED bun. 5/5

If I lived in this town, I would go here regularly. The owner is a veteran too so I highly value that.

I’ve eaten burgers in 45 states and this place has to be top 3 best burger I’ve ever had in my life! Well done! Best French fries I’ve ever eaten.

Small quaint restaurant with excellent food! The burgers were fresh and flavorful and the fries were the best we have had, also clearly freshly made. The Chicken salad was huge...enough for two. The chicken was cooked just right.

Stopped on the way back from big bend! The best Buffalo to ranch ratio I’ve ever experienced in my life! And the Buffalo sauce was homemade as well as the bourbon sauce on the burger, so yummy

The hostess/waitress was friendly and very attentive. Our food was absolutely amazing! We stopped in on our way home from Texas and we were blown away. Everyone raves about the fries, and they're definitely worth the hype! The bourbon sauce is delectable and the chicken was seasoned but not overly done, both the chicken and the beef patties were juicy and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is pleasant and the bathroom was very clean, bright and well stocked. I will absolutely be stopping here again on our next trip to Texas!

Stopped here on our way to El Paso, just based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint. I ordered a junior cheeseburger and husband ordered a bourbon burger and they were absolutely delicious-honestly best burger I’ve had in months. You won’t be sorry pulling over here!

2023-04 Ahhhhh!

Delicious ground-brisket hamburgers with a modest zing of bourbon sauce or slightly more zing in the mango habanero. Heaven. Completed with bacon. Crispy fries that taste like they are fried in peanut oil.

The service is cheerful, helpful and suggestive and quite quick. The food is well presented.

The ambiance? Not so much. But come here for the gourmet hamburger( !! ) not the perfectly acceptable diner look.

The cook (chef?) grinds his own meat, makes his own sauces, makes the deserts that vary day-to-day….he’s involved to say the least.

If you are going anywhere near Fort Stockton, you owe it to yourself to slide into this spot and give them a try.

My husband tried the mango habanero sammich, and I had the chicken sammich, both were excellent. Very large portions. The chicken was juicy and the fries are crispy and perfectly salted.

We will definitely be back to V’s Kitchen!! We loved everything! We had a cheeseburger and a grilled cheese sandwich and we split a salad. Everything was SO fresh! My husband was amazed that Vincent grounds his beef daily and makes French fries from scratch! So yummy!! Thank you! We will be back the next time we come to town!

Very friendly environment. The smaller style menu makes it easy to choose what you’re in the mood for. The burger was cooked to perfection and the toasted bun added a nice touch. The kids loved the Chicken Sammich which has the added touch of a fried cheese patty. The chuck fries were melt in your mouth. The Green Chile Pork Fries were the special of the day and they had a little spice but had great flavor. Oh and the chocolate chip cookies melt in your mouth.

Found v' kitchen on Google maps. Good reviews, so we thought we would try it. Excellent chicken strip and fries lunch. Fries the way I love them and lots of lightly battered strips. Would recommend! Great service also.

This place was amazing! Shout out to Ashlyn for taking care of us! Moving cross country with my dad and stopped here because it had good reviews. The salad had more chicken than I was expecting for the price and was delicious. The chili cheese fries were definitely better than most places I've tried as well!

Stop here and give them your money, it's worth it!

First time at v’s kitchen and the chicken sandwich was delicious. It came with pickles and lettuce. I also tried their honey mustard sauce which was wonderful the best sauce ever! Service was amazing food came in fast and atmosphere was nice. Family had bourbon burger which they also loved. 5/5 definitely.

The food is outstanding!! You have to get off the interstate and try this cafe. They specialize in burgers and “sammiches.” My husband had the Little Hawg burger. It has a delicious perfectly cooked 7oz meat patty with a homemade bourbon sauce, bacon, cheese, fresh onion and pickled jalapeños. The flavors were balanced. And the fries that come with it are hand cut, seasoned and fried to perfection. (Did I use the “p” word again?? But it’s the only one I have to describe how great our food was). Apologies that we didn’t take a photo before the burger was inhaled.

I had the crispy chicken salad. Wow!! The chicken was deliciously seasoned and perfectly crunchy. The spring greens, cherry tomatoes , and cucumber were crisp and fresh. The salad was complemented with dried cranberries, cheese, crunchy croutons, and sunflower seeds. If that weren’t enough, it was served with a bottle of homemade honey mustard dressing that, again, was perfectly balanced. The service is friendly and we had.a great experience!!

Great little mom & pops hamburger joint. Also offer comfort food such as sandwiches. Chicken too.

Stopped here about 2pm on a weekday and were the only customers. Service is VERY friendly. Only thing I might be able to complain about was lack of refrigerated air but wasn't too bad.

Had the Jalapeño Bacon Cheese Burger. They use pickled Jalapeños like you get on nachos. Loved it!

Highly recommend stopping here!

We were just driving through and looked for something for dinner. This place was an awesome surprise!! The Bourbon Burger was BANGIN. It came out piping hot. The fries were my favorite kind: brined and browned. My husband had the Mango Habanero bowl and the sauce was AMAZING! The service was fast even though most of the tables were full. The kitchen was fast, even though they were putting out to go orders in addition to a full dining room. I wish this place was closer to our home!

Perfectly cooked half pound burger with toasted bun and fresh veggies. Home style fresh cut fries. Real hand battered chicken strips, and nanner pudding for dessert. Perfect meal on our way home from Big Bend NP. This is quality food, fast and fresh. If you’re looking for cheap, go elsewhere. If you’re looking for quality, you’ve found the right spot.

If you’ve ever driven on I-10 west bound of San Antonio then you know there’s very little good food, well buckle up friends because one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and I’ve traveled this entire country several times over. Custom ground meat blends in house, custom sauces made in house! Amazing flavor and fairly priced! You’re definitely not gonna want to drive and eat these burgers… grab extra napkins… absolutely amazing!!!!

Excellent burgers and homemade desserts. The restaurant is pretty small so you might have to wait for a seat during the lunch hour, but it's worth it - especially in comparison to other alternatives in West Texas.

Staff was very pleasant and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time (perhaps a touch late due to them being busy).
