Bua Thai

Stopped in to Bua Thai for dinner while visiting the area on business. Was not crowded, seated immediately, service was friendly and fast. I ordered som tom (papaya salad) and green curry with tofu and vegetables. The Som Tom was delicious, great flavors and textures and topped with two large grilled shrimp. I love that they used ripe cherry tomatoes, very nice! The green curry was also extremely flavorful and full of great vegetables and tofu and topped with a large sprig of fresh basil. The green curry was not too sweet and also the eggplant was cooked perfectly. Overall a wonderful experience. I will definitely return on my next visit to the area.

I stopped by Bua Thai for a quick lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. I had their Green Curry lunch special and it really hit the spot. I got it Thai Hot, it could have been a little bit hotter but for most it was probably hot enough. Service was fast, the food was good, and the price was right. If you’re in the area definitely stop by and check it out.

My new favorite Thai restaurant in the Ashburn / Lansdowne area. Very quaint setting and excellent service. The seafood pad Thai was exquisite! The whole shopping plaza is pleasant for strolling after dinner. Go in the evening when the lights are on.

While I was in the area I stopped in to get carry-out for dinner. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant has an interesting/homely feel inside. Their menu is pretty big and laid out nicely in many categories.
I opted for some chicken KaProw, Chicken Pad See Ew, Chicken Basil Fried Rice, and Chicken Tom Yum and I have to say that it was all outstanding! The soup was one of the best I’ve had, the broth had a really nice, fresh, lemony flavor from the lemon grass (unfortunately, there was a couple of large piece of lemongrass stalk in the soup, but it was easy to spot and remove) and the spice level was excellent! The flavors of the stir fried items was spot-on and had that “flame kissed” flavoring to them.

Definitely would recommend stopping in… Really good Thai eats here!!

The food was good and the service was a little was even better.

We ordered the Curry puffs and they were amazing. We really enjoyed it. The Tom Yup soup and the Chicken Pad Pah (Wild) were both good.
It was also odd to to have the waitress pack our food into the boxes. It was a nice touch.

Delicious food! The service was excellent and everyone was very kind and pleasent. The food was very good, fresh, flavorful and spicy.

This is my favorite dish "Chicken kaprow" it's very simple and Bua Thai made it just perfect.

Great foods, staff and overall atmosphere.
Hard to beat Bua Thai in term of quality and price.
My recommend is to try once and you will get addicted !!
Only downside is sometime waiting time is longer than expected :)

Great experience today at Bua Thai! We had an issue at first and the manager/owner took care of it immediately! Wonderful place for Thai food. Try the Massaman Curry. Best in The area! And the Famous Ka Prow is terrific too!! Been coming here for many years and it continues excellent! Highly recommend!! :)

Today is my first time trying this Thai restaurant
Very impressed with service and their excellent food. Restaurant dining room was not busy when I was there but we had to wait for food a little longer because of take out traffic, worth to wait anyway
Try them and you won't be disappointed

This is the goto place for our family. We have to stop ourselves from coming here everyday. My favorites are pork kaprow and green curry. However everything is top notch. We also had them cater for my wife's birthday in their restaurant. All the guests had wonderful things to say about the food.

I love this place. The service is attentive without being intrusive, the cook has great recommendations, and the food is excellent! Try the Drunken Noodle with ground chicken: so savory. I'm not usually a fan of fried pork bellies, but these were quite good. The Catfish Gone Wild would be worth it just for the name, and it tastes great! Grubhub delivers for them, but make sure to eat it hot to get the best flavor!

This place has great food. My son orders this food at least once a week. Fast delivery great food.

food was delicious. i ordered it from work and by the time i got there it was ready. it was less than 10 minutes.

The whole experience with spot on. I found the food to be quite good and the care that went into making it along with the presentation with some of the best that I experienced.
This restaurant deserves another visit!

We have a tried a few different Thai restaurants in the are and we continue to go back to Bua Thai. Personally, we love the Chicken Pad Thai and Crab Wontons.

Traditionally, we opt for the delivery as we live close enough for "free" delivery. Our food always arrives warm, outside of one of the many times we have ordered. They do their best to ensure your crab wontons don't get soggy.

Highly recommend Bua Thai!

Love this restaurant!!! The food has wonderful taste and flavor. I love the curries that they have on the menu definitely will be back.

The pad thai and the duck roll were wonderful. There were lots on the menu that I would return for!

Absolutely delicious food, and good portion sizes! I ordered take-out while staying at a hotel nearby. Best papaya salad I've had (although I ordered it without shrimp) - I got medium spicy and it had quite a kick to it. I also ordered the green curry, which was delicious; the tom yum soup, which I've never had before but may be my new favorite soup; and the BBQ satay, which was also very good. Great prices too. My only complaint was I added a comment to include cutlery because I am staying at a hotel, and they did not. However, they did follow the other requests of no shrimp in one dish, and no mushrooms in another.
