Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Vernon Hills

Everything about this place was top tier! The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. By far the best service I've ever seen. You can tell they take great pride in training their employees! I also loved the warm and inviting atmosphere. Although you're in a room full of people it was a whole vibe! Will definitely be back 😋 The corn brulee and lobster tail were delicious 😋

The first thing I noticed was the valet parking followed by upscale decor! We started with the lobster bisque it was creamy and full of lobster pieces. I ordered the ginormous pork chop with homemade apple sauce. The chop is easily enough for 4 servings. It’s a show in itself with the table side presentation. The other dishes ordered were filets , crème brûlée corn and vegetables. Our server Mourad was outstanding! This was our first time here but we will definitely be back! There is a dress code of business casual. We used valet but plenty of parking is available.

Nice steakhouse! The food, the services, the atmosphere, and the drinks. We enjoyed everything. Our server Nick was on top of everything.Steak was cooked medium to perfection. A must visit if you are in Vernon Hills!

Upon pulling up I can see where others would be frustrated with the parking setup for valet. Honestly if you're not racing in to the place you can easily see where to self park. I feel that's a non issue

We made a reservation for 2 at 5:15, on a Monday for a table not knowing if it would be busy or not. We did change our mind and asked to switch to the bar are, and they were able to accommodate.

There are quite a few staff members, but it seems each person has their part and I would rather have too many than not enough. There was never a time through the meal that we had to look for a server or assistance. The whole ambiance is really nice and a great change of pace for Vernon Hills. The server gave honest suggestions and made us feel welcome and the managers were making the appropriate rounds.

We decided to get the tuna tar tar tower and crab cakes as appetizers and they both were delicious. The crab cakes had panko, which I'm usually not a fan of, but theirs was light and fresh. The tuna also fresh and not over sauced or seasoned with a perfect amount of avocado.

We decided to share a tomahawk ribeye and it was quite honestly the best steak I have had out in years. Well worth the price point, but we couldn't finish it between two of us. It came out perfectly seasoned and cooked. We asked for the topper on the side because we wanted to be able to taste the steak as it is and with the topper and you really don't need a topper. I found myself eating the mushrooms as they were and only a couple of bites with steak. The mushrooms were also rich and flavorful.

We had no room for dessert, but our price tag with a couple of drinks and tax came to $275 for two. I will be going back to try other items and completely recommend trying Perrys for date night… I did notice they had vegan options should you bring non meat eaters with.

Very kind staff. Food is delicious. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Great for a special occasion. I ordered the salmon. Cooked perfectly.

This was our second time at Perry's. From the helpful valet, to the great waitstaff, to the fabulous food it's a can't miss restaurant. Rachael our waitress couldn't have made us feel more special on my wife's birthday. Rachel is very attentive and just a warm, happy person, and very professional. Trust me for a great steak or seafood, it's worth the trip. We haven' had the pork chop yet but when it was brought to the table next to us, it's a perfect example of " next level" dining. The chocolate bread pudding shouldn't be missed.

Came on opening night! Food and service was amazing. Top steaks and drinks. I better not see customers talk about service not being good because they went above and beyond. Will be our go to spot when we want good food and service. Cheers !

Last night I celebrated my birthday at Perry's Steakhouse in Vernon Hills with 6 girlfriends. Being my first time there I was absolutely blown away by the large, beautiful restaurant they have created. We ended up in a private room (thanks to the wonderful manager Mindy), and thoroughly enjoyed it! We had 2 servers, Michael and Mathew, and they were amazing! The food was so delicious, too. What a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday! And Joe, the manager came up to me twice to say Happy Birthday, and I was even given a card which all of them signed. I will definitely be back

Had the ribeye oscar style. Very tasty, probably best ribeye I had this year. Dane, the waiter, knows the menu as well as the wines really well so I relied on his recommendations. Good choices!

The service was excellent. The server was super attentive. So much so that it was almost to a fault. She had good intentions, so it was appreciated. The food was yummy, and drinks were delicious. The tuna tartare was amazing. Our server even brought me out a free dessert for my birthday and wrapped it up to go for me. The atmosphere and decor are absolutely stunning. Valet will surely come in handy in the cold months. Overall I had a lovely experience and will likely return.

I am writing this review in the parking lot because my partner and I were that impressed by everything. Matt was our server and he was amazing. He was so friendly and explained everything so well. His suggestions were phenomenal. We tried so much and enjoyed everything we had to eat but the steak took the cake. We both got our own filets and it was the best steak I have ever had. The flavors were so good. Everyone was so nice and the restaurant and atmosphere was so beautiful and CLEAN! The bathrooms were super clean and pretty themselves. Amazing place. We are so glad we tried it out bc we will be back for special occasions! Thanks again Matt!

I read some reviews for this place that were poor but the place just opened…You have to open mind and have empathy and grace towards people who are just trying to make a living and who are doing their best.

Patio seating was nice and not as loud compared to the main dining room. One filet mignon was too salty for our taste, no problem, got a another one and both were taken out of our bill. Great service, their staff is polite and not overwhelming. We will definitely go back.

Drinks and food were good. Nice atmosphere for a night out.

Excellent place. Had 3 Martini 79's, scallops with bacon starter, tuna tower, some salad, 10 oz fillet Oscar style and my wife had filet and lobster. Great upscale steakhouse

An absolute vibe. What an experience! Thank you to Howard, Ashley, Richard and the rest of the staff for being that energy Vernon Hills needed! My husband and I went for happy hour and happy is exactly how we left! I had Perry's rosè which was amazing! Light, fruit forward and smooth. We shared the Pork bites which are a must and order extra, the truffle spinach and artichoke dip that was super tasty, last bit not least the Texas Akaushi Wagyu Satay! A tad bit too much cumin but super flavorful! Thank you again to everyone for a great night out! We'll be back!

I am Industry. It is difficult to find restaurants whose quality lives up to their reputation. This place lived up and exceeded the expectations. I have worked 20+ years in this industry and for the northshore I would recommend this as a must 7 days a week.

We got the Friday Pork Chop lunch special. This was an honest to goodness Fred Flintstones brontosaurus cut of meat. Incredible flavor and perfectly cooked. The corn brulee is not from this planet. Everyone and everything about this place is outstanding.

Highly recommend Perry’s…wonderful dinner experience, excellent service with highly trained waiters, friendly atmosphere. First class across the board! Our new favorite!!!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 4 month anniversaity today. We had an amazing time at Perry's. Recardo recommended us the best steak sauce and the symphony kabab. Everything was perfect!
