I always find peace when I'm at church, but, not at this church. I was sitting outside the church at one of their tables, enjoying the solitude, while waiting for my grandson's bus. Someone from the church approached me asking a million, nosy questions. She did not approve of my sitting there. Today I came back to find entire area of tables roped off with yellow tape. I sat down on nearby bench only to be approached again. The gentleman was not friendly, telling me it was private property over and over as I tried telling him I was sitting there to find peace and solitude. I finally got mad, and I yelled as I walked away that it's God's property. All because I was smoking??? BTW, I was NOWHERE near any kids. This is how you treat God's children? I want NO part of any church that keeps a person from just sitting at church minding their own business. You people discriminated me , forbidding me from sitting Outside the church, because I smoke? That's just an excuse. You could have just asked me not to smoke, but, you didn't. You simply did not want me there. Period. Way to carry God's message of Love Thy Neighbor. BTW, that is God's Greatest Command.
