Central welding supply has been an amazing supporter of my schools SkillsUSA chapter for many years, and now they are amazing supporters of SkillsUSA Washington!! They went above and beyond this year in supplying prizes for Welding, Welding Fabrication, and Welding sculpture as well as providing multiple employees to be judges and help with these contests!! Central Welding provides our veterinary clinic with oxygen and supplies needed to take care of our pet patients and they never let us down! They have come to the rescue short notice and Jake has never turned us away with any special requests, he is willing to go out of his way above and beyond! If he doesn’t know the answer or hasn’t done a similar project before, he will find it out or figure it out. 100% satisfied customers here.

Real bind I was in for parts for my welder, called Central, 15 minutes later they called back with what I needed, plus more! Highly reccomend for all welding needs, from small at home projects to month long insustrial scale applications, these guys know what to do if you call them, 5 stars are not enough, needs a 6th star to rate them. Jake has gone above and beyond. We had an issue at the veterinary clinic I work at, something I am sure was not in his job description, without hesitation he came out told me what I needed to order, ordered it and came out the day after it arrived and installed it. Polite and patient people, especially for a raw beginner (me). They have a keen interest in helping and a deep fund of knowledge, if a novice can judge.
I like that you can buy stick electrodes by the pound instead of committing to 5 lb. as you would at the big box store across the street. Some stick electrodes need to be fresh and dry, and I wouldn't have any misgivings about buying from Coastal.

FWIW, the price for 6013 1/16" rod bested anyone else.
