If you are new to Trucking don't be afraid of this place. Yes its tight, but take your time and you will do fine. Think it through, plan you moves. This place is an excellent on the job training experience. One very important this that will help you, slide your tandems all the way forward. The workers here are very friendly. I'll come here again in a heartbeat. One other thing,...arrive on time if not a little early. Miss our appointment and they will work you in when they can...they will not work you in ahead of drivers who arrive on time. CP Time ain't cut'n it.

Place is pretty easy. Lower scale is super tight, upper scale is plenty spacious. Read the signs and you'll be fine. Workers are polite and helpful. The mobile dock they use is pretty tight to the curb but if you know what you're doing it's fine

I have many years experience driving a semi. Yes it’s tight, but so are about 85,000 other places. It’s not as bad as garage docks in NJ. It’s not as bad as the meat district in Chicago.

I have delivered here 4 times. No one has ever been rude or ugly. Every single person has been polite and friendly and courteous. Who cares if it’s tight. If you can handle backing into a tight truck stop or doing a tight pull through then this is just another day of actually using the skills you should have been taught to begin with except with smiles and respect being shown to you!

I recently ran two loads to Covanta Tulsa and enjoyed it immensely! The driving is tight but gives you a chance to slow down and prove you can put every part of the truck exactly where you want it. Currently they were using the lower scale for check in until around 5 pm. Barry on the loader was extremely helpful and had a great attitude. Best part: Porta potties by both scales! It's hard to concentrate with a full bladder and so many disposals just don't accommodate human drivers like that. Definitely will recommend this run to anyone who isn't scared of industrial environments and common sense. At the top , the North scale is on the Left.

For my first time being there I was expecting the worst from all previous reviews saying if u value ur truck n trailer don't come here, super tight, listen n follow the workers every direction if not you'll pay! Etc. People are definitely nice my husband n I got to witness the process and pretty cool to see. We were in a reefer trailer the hill to back up to the mobile dock was steep but doable. So, as for instructions it's best u call 15 to 20 minutes before arriving for ur APPOINTMENT! in staging on the lower level near unused scale. Do not go up the hill unless directed cause there isn't backing out. But anyway my overall experience here was great we did have to sit for 2 hours cause people before didn't follow the rules n went way before their appointments n ones who didn't have scheduled appointments. So it held them up. If you want a smoother unloading process follow the rules.
Oh n PS make sure you enter on scale straight take ur turn wide n ull be good. Hope u have a great experience as well best of luck.

Getting in and out is a little complicated, but the lady in the guard shack was very helpful and explained everything. I arrived at 0830 for a 1000 appointment and was unloaded in an hour.

Had a positive experience here today in and out in an hour, and it seems this is the only facility that has all concrete, so it won't get ur truck dirty. But there are tight turns so bw careful use extra precaution...

Ok so I read the reviews before I delivered here its not that bad if u listen to what they tell you and pay attention to what ur doing its really easy to get around here and get unloaded

Scale ladie really gentle..

This place is really good..got me unloaded in 30 min..really good people

They will NOT unload you early, if your load requires witnesses.
Quite strict, and disciplined place, but in a good way. Just respect their reasonable requirements, and you'll be fine.

Best trash to electricity facility in Tulsa, bar none.

They burn trash to make energy. Great in my book.
