Verandas on the Green Apartment Homes

The Verandas on the Green team was a dream come true for me. Upon arrival (to sign my lease) I was greeted by a staff member and shown around the grounds. We arrived at my apartment and did a thorough walk-around inside. I was shocked to see how roomy the apartment was. I am in a 1 bedroom/1 bath (just me living here short term) and find it to be very pleasant. The apartment I am in has been updated with new carpet, laminate flooring and tile in the kitchen and bathroom.
If there were one suggestion regarding this apartment, it would be to include a microwave. I am only here for 5 months, so I don't see a need to go buy one, yet, on the other hand, it is an inconvenience for sure.
The people around my complex are very friendly and helpful but the upstairs neighbor is a pain. Besides them, the complex is very peaceful and quiet. I feel safe living here and would recommend this property to others.

Very happy with the level of service that I was met with by Jenny. She always has a smile on her face and is eager to help. She makes the office feel very welcoming!

I went to visit Verandas on the Green with my son who is moving to the area for school. He found this apartment complex and asked me to go with him. The amenities are so nice and conducive for his lifestyle. The apartment itself was spacious and clean. When we visited the leasing office they were so friendly and accommodating and answered the million questions I had especially Jennifer. She was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. This is my son’s first time living away from home and I think he and his fish, Opal will love living there.

I requested a service for my apartment and Shawn was more than diligent in the repair process. He went above & beyond to satisfy my need.

This was my first time moving out on my own and the people at the leasing office helped make the process smooth and easy. Both the people at the leasing office, and my neighbors are all really nice and respectful. I had only one problem here so far, and that was with ladybugs that was dealt with very quickly. Thankful for their kindness and help especially Jennifer who helped me with most of the process.

Verandas has been a great, affordable and safe place to live in in Aiken. The front office management team has been wonderfully responsive to any concerns I’ve had. The maintenance team is great and the few repair request I’ve had have been done by the next day. The new management team has been doing a great job with updating the complex.Overall, it’s been very nice living here the past 3 years.

Love our apartment! The staff is exceptional. Only minor repairs have been requested and they have been promptly addressed. And our pet has been warmfully welcomed. Recommended to anyone looking for an apartment!

I have lived in Verandas on the Green Apartments since 2019, when I moved here from Chicago. I have been very happy here, and my apartment is just the right size for me and my dog! The whole apartment complex is beautifully kept. I would like to say that since I moved here, the office staff have been so nice and welcoming, and the maintenance men are always so helpful! I have mentioned this to several people that I have been happier here than I have in a long time! It’s a great place to live!

I recently moved to Aiken from the Northeast U.S. I looked at a few apartments in the area before deciding that Verandas was the place I wanted to settle in. I’ve been here for two months now and I want to state that Beverly and her staff are very professional and extremely pleasant to deal with.
I had a few minor maintenance issues when I first moved in. Jonathan and his maintenance staff were on it almost immediately. My stay here to this point has been a very pleasant experience.

The people that work here are amazing and make you feel at home. From Beverly and Heather in the front office to Dave and Jacob who perform maintenance. They are timely with requests and never leave you hanging. Beverly and Heather do anything they can to help and support you. With the great service and current renovations happening it’s a great place to live. Thank you!

I moved in from Nigeria with my husband. The process was really smooth and easy. The staffs have been so nice and lovely to us. And the maintenance guys are very swift to response. Beautiful and lovely apartments. We are glad to be here!!

My mom moved in about 6 weeks ago. The staff could not have been nicer. She loves her apt. was clean a new paint. She also received all new appliances. I feel comfortable having her there she is safe and office will assist her if needed.

Con: It's older, so you'll hear your upstairs neighbors (and they'll hear you)

Pros: Jonathan and the maintenance staff are SO friendly and on the ball, if you put in a work order they gave it fixed in a timely manner.
Kristie in the office is so sweet! Bev in the office will tell it like it is, which I appreciate! All of the staff care about their residents and show it in their actions. The church bells were so nice to hear daily, I definitely loved living here!

I lived here for two years with my children and I only moved for school. I stayed on the bottom floor and never had a noise problem with my upstairs neighbors nor did I have a bug issue as I have read other reviews say. I asked for pest control that is included in the rent as a preventative measure once a month in the summer with no issues...and I lived by the woods! I loved the friendly enviroment and I always had a sense of safety as I got to know my awesome neighbors and we looked out for each other! Maintenance is timely and experienced. The property manager and admin are professional, friendly and always a pleasure to interact with. With that said, where else are you going to stay where you get water/sewer, trash, pest control AND cable included in your rent price? I miss saving money on my utility bills! Thank you Verandas for giving me two wonderful years!

The staff at Verandas on the Green are polite and efficient, making this a pleasant place to live. I like the upgrades as well. This is my 8th year here and am very happy.

We were drawn to verandas on the Green because it is a gated community. Kristie Drew showed us our apartment, had a beautiful attitude everytime we saw or spoke to her, and helped us with an residential issues along the way. She is a strong, driven person who is manager material. I would love to see her promoted! Thank you, Kristie!

This is a wonderful place to live. Great location in Aiken. The property is beautiful, safe, and quiet. Since we moved here the apartment and neighborhood keeps getting better and better. The staff is soooo helpful, kind, and receptive. So thankful we live here.

I've lived here for three plus years and have no plans on moving out . Beverly the manager is outstanding. Cristie the assistant manager and Heather are just as nice as can be . The maintenance workers are top notch . These people really do care .

The staff is really friendly to work with and maintenance has taken care of all that I have needed quickly. The complex is a lot quieter than the other places I have lived and the location is really close to everything.
