Cute gear shop in Tulsa. It's located in Utica Square which is a shopping center with lots of other stores.

Primarily men's clothing, not much women's clothing. Limited selection of gear including sleeping bags, backpacks, water bladders, dog camping accessories, etc. They have a great shoe selection for men and women. Running, walking, trail, and hiking shoes and boots. And smartwool socks.

My first visit to this store to invest in myself and purchase some quality walking shoes. Parker was so personable and helpful. I really appreciated his patience and his way of educating me about the types of shoes in such a respectful way. (Sometimes sales people can be condescending and this experience was only a positive interaction.)
I tried on several types of shoes and made my choice. I'm a happy customer.

What a terrific gem of a store this is for us to have here in Tulsa. So much selection of quality gear and if they don't have it, I'm sure they can order it for you. The staff is great and very helpful, especially Kyle.

They have a great sales room, BTW.

Please frequent this store because we need to keep resources like this going in our city. If you love the outdoors, you'll come to appreciate the store and the staff.

Found this place on accident, which was perfect because we both realized Tulsa doesn't have a REI! The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. I also got a first responder discount, which I don't get anywhere else I shop. We'll have to come back next time.

Gearhead is my favorite store at Utica square. Ask for Elizabeth, she is literally the best. If my wife and I ever renew our vows, we will have Elizabeth officiate our wedding.

Gearhead Outfitters is my new favorite place in all of Tulsa!!! If your into hiking, camping, running, or just wearing the BEST gear for all the seasons, this is the place to go!

Even if you just want a Yeti, this place has a bunch! AND colors you won't find ANYWHERE else! Even Yeti dog bowls!! Just everything from major survival gear to just lounging at the lake and so much more!
And don't even get me started on the customer service!! ITS AMAZING! they dont rush you or pressure you and I was there for like 2 hours just looking at stuff and they never got annoyed with me, answered all my questions and everything. Just such a cool place and made my day! Cant wait to go back and buy EVERYTHING LOL

Always a great selection of brands. I always end up buying something on every visit. It does get a bit crowded. Super helpful staff.

If you go to Gearhead, ask for Elizabeth. She’s so helpful and knows everything! If my daughter wasn’t already named Elizabeth, I’d be naming my second daughter Elizabeth because of Elizabeth.

Went in here for some very specific items I needed for a gift and they had such a fun selection! I was with my toddler and they were so sweet with him and patient. It was our first time in and definitely won’t be our last!!

Kyle the store manager gave outstanding customer service to me yesterday. I've been impressed with Kyle's growth though his years of employment at GearHead. His knowledge of products is impressive. His customer service skills are 5 star.Hopefully the owners Ted & Amanda Herget realize they have a diamond in the rough with Kyle. He's regional manager material.

This is the store I go to buy both my hiking shoes and boots . They always have a great selection and Trevor is always a great help when I’m there . All the goods and gear you need for your next hiking adventure . My favorite store in Tulsa 👍👍

My experience with Maddie was incredible. She was so kind and genuinely cared about my need and helped fulfill that to the full extent. I highly recommend going there for outdoor needs as they have a great abs wide selection of tools and the like. My only “complaint” is that their is a poor selection of clothing when it comes to plus size individuals. The store definitely caters to a smaller demographic and let’s face it people Are built different these days. Anyway, thank you for an awesome experience!

First time going to Gearhead and what an amazing experience! If you are looking for a place that has staff that is friendly, knowledgeable, nonjudgmental and experiences in exploring the outdoors, Gearhead is the place. As a former Backwoods patron, I like many, we’re deeply saddened when they closed. I was referred to Gearhead and was amazed how professional, personable and knowledgeable the staff was. I had the opportunity to work with both Elizabeth and Tyrone and they were amazing. It was like having my best friend/outdoors guru shopping with me. They were both knowledgeable of the products and listened to understand my needs rather than listen to respond and try to sell me something I didn’t want or would not use.
Gearhead, you have gained a loyal customer and I will definitely let my fellow adventures know about your store!

I went in sorta clueless about hiking gear and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Charlie helped me pick out a shoe that fit my specific needs + I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. Every other employee I interacted with was funny/helpful as well! Their selection is solid and the prices are genuinely reasonable :)

Stopped by mall area and found this great store. Looking around and found a large selection of ON footwear. Always wanted to try but afraid to order online due to size issues. Bought a pair and did not like the feel. Spoke to Jack on phone and he said I could return them. Got a different OC style and love them. Staff was great, very friendly and knowledgeable.

My husband bought me a pair of shoes I had been wishing for for a while. I was so excited to get them - but they hurt my feet once I had them on. I called the store and Glade told me to come in and they would help me get into the right pair. WOW, this is exactly why I love this store! Tarone helped me when I got there. Tarone educated me and recommended shoes for what I needed. He was so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He even helped me pick out some fun camping gifts for my husband after. Great staff. Always my go-to for anything outdoors related. Recently had a great experience purchasing my first pair of Hoka running shoes. They offered me a fantastic discount for being a healthcare worker too! S/O to Justin for helping me find the perfect sized Clifton 7's
