Random choice to stop in while out with family. We ordered and split the croquettes, haus fries and hot schnitzel sandwich. All were delicious, the croquettes were our favorite. Every server and the bartender were exceptionally friendly and helpful! Recommended tasty beers and even offered to cut the sandwich in thirds so it was easy for us to share.

I have to say this is one of the nicest and most friendly staff anywhere. Even though it was packed the night we went. They served us fast. They have a very nice beer selection! If you are a beer person, this place is for you! Tasty cocktails and appetizers. Get the pretzel! The haus burger was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Family friendly also! I will be going back again. Five stars all the way!

Very cool spot on the Blvd... parking lot just west, two building down. Great "hall" atmosphere, service was exceptional (thx Zoe!), beer selection was well curated, food was delicious. We only wish we lived a little closer! Kids menu is limited, but the basics are covered. PROST!

I thought I had an “idea” of what German beers tasted like and I’m so glad I was wrong. The beers here on draft here are outstanding. If De Garre is available here you must try it in its specific glass. The big pretzel is bomb and the atmosphere makes you want to bring all your friends. Try this place if you haven’t already! Can’t wait to go back.

I've been wanting to check this place out for some time now, and my husband and I finally got to after dropping the kids off at a Parents Night Out. 😆
The building is a historical building, and it's lovely to see. There's a long bar with seats, two other counters with a row of higher chairs each, and large community tables.
The beers are always rotating, because most are limited quantities. While we wanted to try the beer, we got cocktails this trip. The apple crisp mule was incredible! It was a ginger apple pie in liquid form and delicious! The cranberry margarita was really good, but it was hard to compare to the mule.
We ordered the potato pancakes and the sausage platter to share. The sausage platter was outstanding. Wonderful flavors in the sausages (we got to pick 2 out of three sausage options), and great condiments and sides. There was nothing wrong with the potato pancakes, but we make a Polish version at home and I was hoping for something a little different. They were very crispy, and good to share, but they didn't seem to be on the danger level as everything else we got.
The server we had was so wonderfully informative, and he checked in with us the right amount.
All the food is made in house, and it's delicious!

They have a great variety of good food. We love the pretzel, salad, ribs, kids hot dog, french fries. They lots of beer and fun cocktails. I LOVE the cranberry margarita. Also, I can’t say enough about the service. We come here weekly because my daughter has music lessons next door. They ordered her strawberries for her mocktails and go the extra mile to make sure she is happy.

It was my first time here, today, with a few of my friends. We all ordered different menu items and everything was excellent, even the kids chicken strips were served with a decent portion, accompanied by a healthy serving of the BEST French fries; thick, crispy, but still soft in the center, with excellent flavor. The beet salad was so delicious and refreshing. The chicken schnitzel sandwich was a great mix of flavor and texture. The service was great, the server was very friendly, and answered all questions we had about the menu items. I had an Elderberry cider which was light and refreshing, not sweet. This will definitely be a favorite place to eat.

We went on a week night. Great atmosphere. Not busy nor crowded. Adequate wait times for food and drinks. Great service. Great food and drinks. We ordered starters: pretzel, ribs, croquettes. Mains, we're all käsespätzle with sausage. Hefty portions and very filling. Pretzel mit Bier ist immer wunderschön. The Käsespätzle could be shared by two. Would definitely come back to try the other food & drink offerings.

Stopped by to try out this new spot and definitely a winner. Came in around 1PM on Saturday and got seated right away. Staff were great, we got our food quickly and it tasted great. Looks like they have a good offering of beer, wine and drinks so we'll have have to come by another time to sample them.

Hubby wanted sausage and cabbage - my answer Prost! Had a great meal and left with enough food for leftovers. I had the pork Jaeger schnitzel, all red cabbage. The meat was very tender and flavorful and the gravy was delicious, not too salty. Good amount of mashed potatoes and veggies too. Hubbies sausage platter was exactly what he wanted too.

This place has so much character, charisma, and an amazing vibe. It’s in the heart of Old Town Elk Grove. This place seems to have had plenty of thought out into the decor, menu options. It helps that it is walking distance from an IV hydration place that I love. This is a hidden gem that is going to do very well. Super excited to be here and I am looking forward to being a “regular” here ;)

Prost Beer Hall has really breathed some life into this awesome, historic space. The menu has a great take on German fare and there's a large beer and cocktail selection with some fun twists on classic drinks. The staff were very nice and the atmosphere was bustling. We ordered the sausage platter, bitterballen, beet salad, and cheesecake. All were amazing, with the sausages being a highlight. The cheesecake was also delicious. There's so much I still want to try on the menu, and I'm looking forward to coming back and having more!

This place is great for German beer. Our server Raf was so nice and personable. He took the time to answer questions and joke with our group. I would recommend this place with a group of friends to hang out and have a beer. If you not a beer drinker they do have a full bar. I would recommend the expresso martini so good it is not to sweet. This is a cool place to chill.

Best German food in Sacramento area. Highly recommend the schnitzel and any or all beers. Large variety. Service and servings are gratifying.

Loved the food, German beer on tap, can't go wrong. Definitely get a pretzel and highly recommend the chicken schnitzel sando!

Delicious food with a lively and bright atmosphere! Very fun menu with long sausage. Great blend of local and imported beers, tasty cocktails and wine. I think I saw a cider on the list too. Untouchable vibes and countless laughs!

It was kinda loud, but i went there and a pub crawl happened to be there too so not the resturants fault. Amazing food! As for the beer, I love trippels, and most other german / belgian beers and these people did not disappoint. One of the best selections I've found of good drinks, and it made the drive from midtown very worth it.

Very nice spot, staff was great they get 5 stars for sure! Love their beer and sausage platter, but the schnitzel needs seasoning! Absolutely no flavor at all ! Everything else was a 5/5. I still like this place a lot. I hope the chef sees this and fixes it because I'd love to continue bringing people here to show them how great German food is!

Went for first time for lunch and was really good. The hand cut fries were excellent, cooked to perfection. My wife and I got a chicken schnitzel sandwich and the Haus burger to split (didn't get to sample their fantastic draft beer selection today but definitely will go back). The portions were large and the food was great. Our medium burger had no pink so if you want a little pink maybe try medium rare, it was still tasty just an FYI.

The huge pretzel that many tables got looked amazing. I would definitely get that and an order of fries to share next time with a group getting beers.

They have a bunch of long wooden sit down tables and a couple high chair bar areas. Be prepared to sit "family style" with people next to you when it gets really busy. If the family style seating scares you they did have a small set of tables in the front of the building on Elk Grove Blvd. as well.

Service staff was nice and friendly and pretty quick! 5 stars overall! Our server said the dinner menu has more choices and options, excited to go back another time and try that out too.
