Siam Bistro

This place is almost perfect, I would like to see a few more vegetables in the plates, but the food tastes great. Clean bathrooms and the whole dining area are spotless. There are only two people working in the place and their service is just fantastic. The cook came out greeted us, and checked on us as well. Beautiful plates I didn't like that you have to purchase bottled water, so be aware of that. It is a return to try other dishes place for sure. I tried the duck, AWSOME! my wife tried the s&s chicken, and we also had the egg fried rice and the egg rolls, beautiful sauce with the egg rolls. The hot and mild duck sauce was a perfect paring.

Google Maps knows me rather well, and all I have to do is enter the word “Thai” in the search bar. The AI then kicks in as it predicts what I would type next: “…food near me.” And this is the one that came up first on a recent visit to Clovis NM. It rated highly, and given that curry flows through my veins. I hit “Start” and listened to Google take me there straightaway.

Siam is in a rather unassuming building that has no doubt housed many other businesses through the years, but I could tell by the cars parked outside that the crowd before a typical Friday evening dinner rush could mean only one thing: that I was in for a treat.

My deduction was spot on, and I was impressed that, in addition to a huge depth and variety of signature Thai dishes, they also had a separate vegan section. I could eat without having to make any special requests! Points well scored.

I was left with a conundrum, though, because the Vegan Pad Thai sounded delicious, but so did the Vegan Curries (yellow or red). In the end, I went with the former, and added tofu for protein. In ten minutes flat I was served a bowl of piping hot noodles, tofu, and veggies, along with a side of steamed white rice.

I have written before of the Thailand government’s gastro diplomacy program, something they started two decades ago by training chefs to send to the US, as well as attracting investors. The result has been more than 5000 Thai restaurants stateside, but in three tiers of price points and and decor.

Siam falls on the low end of that scale, as do the majority of Thai places here, but that does not mean we should think any less. The food was just as good as what I have had at very posh upscale Thai bistros, but instead of the elegant surroundings, there was the usual waving cat toy and altar to the Buddha.

The service and food were of the highest order, and next time I come to Clovis, I won’t have to do my usual search. I know where I’m going now.

I’m very familiar with them via takeout/delivery and I haven’t been disappointed yet. The food is bomb and always hot and fresh, the owners are lovely, and I can’t wait to dine in.

The Pad Prick Pao (with chicken) is my personal favorite, but the Drunken Noodles and Basil Fried Rice are great, too. They’re somewhat pricey, but they’re worth it.

Siam Bistro is the place to go!

If you ever find yourself in Clovis , then you have to check this place out.

The restaurant is enticing and inviting from the Lucky bamboo, to the friendliness of the staff. The goal is to please the customer and they make every attempt to do so.

I had a cucumber salad and the pad broccoli and both were extremely delicious and expertly prepared.

The chicken in the pad broccoli was extremely tender and tasty and the broccoli and carrots were a nice pairing.

The cucumber salad had julienne carrots and diced onions in addition to the sliced cucumber. The sweet vinegar dressing pulled all the tastes together and topped it nicely.

Everything was fresh; the price was right, as were the portions. The place was clean and lively, so get there early as the place fills up quickly. There is parking in front of the restaurant.

We stopped in this place to try something new the reviews were good and we were very impressed. We will be back and thank you so much for a great meal and dinning experience.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Clovis, hands down. The food is AMAZING. I cannot say enough good things about how delicious the food is, and what makes it even better is that it is all made fresh and from scratch right when you order it!
The staff are some of the most friendly and kind people I have ever met, and it is always a joy to be able to talk and interact with them any time I am in there. I cannot recommend this place enough, and if I could give it more than 5 stars, you know I sure would.

The food is amazing and the service is great. They make you feel like you're being taken care of because you are. It's the only place in Clovis whose food never disappoints me. They're amazing, and you're missing out if you don't come by for a meal. Highly recommend this place if you like actual good food.

Was in town for one day and this place was recommended. It was amazing! Food was delish, the staff super friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. My only complaint is I won’t be able to try all the different dishes!

Definitely will be a regular here. No wait time. Restaurant is very clean and nice inside. Service is great, was seated right away and servers were tentative. The food was amazing. Pad thai was great and the Thai ice tea is the absolute best! Recommended!

I had a wonderful date here! Amazing crab rangoons, general Taos, and egg drop soup! The staff was very friendly and helpful!

5 stars alone for the mango with sticky rice. It is my favorite dessert, and their's did not disappoint and I'll definitely be back for this! We ordered a HUGE order and it took a while and they threw in some extra egg rolls. Got home and there was 2 items missing. We called and they had them ready when we went back. The orange Chicken and sesame chicken tasted exactly the same. Husband said the pork pad Thai was good.

Siam bistro is my favorite restaurant in town, the owners are so sweet and the food is just as good! The egg drop soup is the best I’ve ever had. Please do yourself a favor and come in and grab a fresh warm meal 🥘🧡

Wow! Spent 12 yrs living in Chicago and I can’t think of a restaurant there or anywhere else I’ve had better Thai food. No exaggeration. From the Ribeye Yellow Curry to the Garlic Black Pepper(chicken) and the Crab Rangoon including the spicy sauce on the side, as cliche as it is, EVERYTHING FRESH and undeniably made in house.
I ordered to-go but the inside was very cozy for couples but can absolutely fit large groups. The front of the house staff was with a customer when I walked in but the Chef came out to greet me and maybe 60 seconds later the who I believe owner greeted me and asked if she can help with my order. I absolutely recommend this restaurant! I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

Love this place and recommend it to everyone! Unfortunately I have to give the atmosphere 4 out of 5 stars because they have these beautiful soothing blue lights next to a gorgeous green painting, yet I rarely see patrons seated over there, and it was the second time I've not been able to sit there. I wrote my very first review of Siam Bistro right after the first blue light experience. As a light sensitive individual, this means a lot to me.

As always, the food is scrumptious and super fresh. Service was quick and very attentive. She answered all my questions about the vegan meal I ordered. Seriously check out the vegan options! The curry warmed my soul and gave me just the congestion relief I needed.

To quench my thirst, I had a sweet and cool Thai tea. 😎

A little off the beaten path, but fantastic food and great service! You won’t be disappointed! Loved all the different dishes we ordered. Nice presentation as well. We dined in, but during our meal we observed a steady stream of takeout orders picked up by locals.

Wow 🤩 if you have ever had authentic Thai cuisine you need to dine in at Siam Bistro. Kay is not only the owner but she is the head culinary chef as well. The dishes are prepared fresh to order, nothing but Quality products at Siam. The service was speedy friendly and very clean. I highly recommend you try this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

Definitely my new favorite spot in Clovis (by a long shot). Service was very kind and prompt. Food was absolutely DELICIOUS. We ordered the crab Rangoon (10/10), fresh rolls (6/10), see ew noodles (10/10), and drunken noodles (10/10). We ate everything and look forward to coming back!

We visited for the first time and the service and food were wonderful! The Tom yum soup was perfect, and the pineapple fried rice was delicious, just wish it had a couple more pieces of shrimp. My husband loved the yellow curry with chicken, we will definitely be back to try something new!

Had some vegan curry, egg rolls and boba tea here. Everything was delicious and the interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated. The workers are also very pleasant. Would try here again
