This place is my GO TO for shipping packages. Easy to park in front, the staff is helpful, efficient and super friendly and accommodating. Love Juan! I have been going for many years and there has never been an issue. I trust that my packages get to where they need to go always. 5 stars 110% for them!

I was hesitant to ship from this company because of some negative reviews. However; I wanted to avoid driving to Santa Monica and hauling a heavy sewing machine from a parking space. I got an estimate and was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price as well as the ease and speed with which the machine was packed, insured, and sent to San Diego for repair. JUAN was very helpful, informative and pleasant, and I’ll definitely return to ship other packages. Thank you.

Juan is amazing. I’ve been going to him for 6 1/2 years and have had no issues with mailing every sort of package you can think of. I have also made copies through him as well as keys. I will continue to use his services.

I’m so grateful this store is here for the community! I’ve always had great service. The convenience alone of having a place to bring packages to box, address and mail is incredible! If they’re a little bit more of an expense, I’m ok. The rent is extremely high in this location and again, I’m just grateful they’re here. Let’s support!

I have been going to the Highland Postal Center for a few years and have never had a problem. Juan and associate have always been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with all my packages mailed internationally and locally.

I’ve been going there more years then I can count. Always so helpful and professional . So many packages so little time, but they make it so much easier. So glad they’re in such an great location too with great parking etc. 👍🏼

Yes it's ridiculous the price but all of you rich people got to think for a minute if you go to Starbucks how much does your coffee cost and you drink it right away less then a second How much did your car cost maybe thousands How much did your 5 floor house cost and maybe only 2 or 3 people live it in it you guys are rich How much a month or whatever you go on a vacation and it most cost a lot with good food the hotel and so on and for a 20 dollar shipping that you really need your ridiculous or for a 25 cents a copy it is just 25 cents yeah the guy could be an add sometimes but you guys got to think it's business its like rent or bills how do you pay will you guys work in offices or whatever and maybe your prices are 100 dollars for a simple shirt so same thing with this the price is ridiculous because the owner pays rent so yeah

The lion's share of reviews on this site are negative, and I can attest to having similar negative experiences with the owner, Juan, over the four years that I maintained a box there. I avoided interaction with him as much as I could because he is very confrontational, flying into fits of rage over seemingly the smallest things. I have witnessed him swear at customers (myself included).

He is untruthful when he insists he is not the owner, when the State of California SOS site clearly indicates otherwise; He is untrustworthy in that he has opened packages and then claimed they were damaged in transit; He demonstrates little or no integrity when he issues a renewal invoice and, when paid within two days - insists on assessing higher fees than originally invoiced; He is emotionally disturbed when he screams at customers and chases them throughout the parking lot in an attempt to intimidate them.

In short, Juan is not emotionally stable and deliberately attempts to create chaos and disorder in the lives of present and past customers.

One past customer, an accountant, has reported on another independent site that important mail from governmental agencies has been 'refused' or discarded. Another reports that the counter person attempted to steal a check that was delivered there.

BEWARE: THIS BUSINESS IS NOT A USPS REGISTERED MAIL COLLECTION SITE AND DOES NOT ADHERE TO THE HIGH STANDARDS OF THE USPS/POSTMASTER GENERAL.

An Example: USPS Registered collection sites are required to forward your mail for 6 months after box closure. Juan takes advantage of the fact that his business is NOT a registered site and, therefore, he is not required to forward mail.

In fact, as in my case, he deliberately marks mail received as 'REFUSED' and returns it to the sender or discards it.

The few positive reviews from people as far away as San Francisco are, perhaps, from family members.

When a business gets as many negative reviews from such a wide variety of customers as this business, clearly, the is a serious problem.

I am an accountant that depends on receiving ALL my mail and checks. By being the unethical, vindictive owner he is, he has cost my client thousands of dollars in late fees and penalties having to be paid all because this guy threw away mail instead of doing the right thing - forwarding or holding for pickup. Even if he would have returned the mail to sender, we would have been asked for a new address by the vendors. STAY FAR AWAY!

Now you, the owner threatens me in a response? REALLY? There is no sabotage required by anyone. You do a wonderful job on your own. I am an independent contractor. My client had a mailbox with you for years. Please don't threaten me. Believe it or not, tampering with the delivery of US Mail is a Federal crime.

Store's posted hours are 9am-6pm, yet the employee who works there NEVER has the door open at 9:00. I waited today until 9:26 when he finally arrived. When confronted about a late opening I have heard him say on no less than 3 separate occasions that traffic was bad. It's LA; traffic is bad everywhere, all the time!! I wish they'd fire this guy and get someone who is responsible and smart enough to leave their home early enough to make it to work on time.

If management reads this review, please check his time card or clock-in time for Monday May 7th, 2018 to see if it matches to the 9:26 opening of the store (he walked through the front door from his car @9:26, he wasn't in the back getting the store ready to be opened).

My host took myelf and my trico iron case (plastic box with bicycle and camping gear) here to ship my bicycle to the east coast via UPS. The owner quoted me a price of 297 dollars and change. This seemed exorbitant cause shipping from the east coast to west coast cost me 160 and I was shipping much less home. I was sure he was wrong about the price and determined to go to the ups store. He was insistant that they would charge me the same amount at the ups store. However, the cost of shipping at the ups store was 159, where I expected it to be. This guy is a crook. Stay away from this place. In reply, I did not force anyone to give me a price. Your employee never suggested i take it to the ups store. I went there on my own volition. In fact, he was very insistant they would charge me the same price. Fortunately this was not the case. I simply brought it to the ups store and this is what they charged me. The difference is substantial. In reply, I have the invoice. I don't think a wolf like youself is worth the time. Why would I be motivated to hurt your business? This experience was very distress full to me. I felt like that 'nice old lady' as you previously referred to her, who brought me to your business, fed me to the sharks and then subsequently joined in on the feeding frenzy. She also told me I was wrong about the cost. I'm glad I had the courage to stand up for myself. The fact that you attack my character and intelligence is so disheartening.
