Was surprised by the selection of kits, the incredible number of paint choices (they actually manufacture their own line here!!) and the very friendly and knowledgeable owners! Highly recommend this place!

It was exciting to see a retail hobby shop like this open in Sanford. Lots of selection in all manner of military, civilian, planes, trains, boats, and automobiles. In every scale and from all the great manufacturers. There are plenty of paint brands and colors. As well as anything a model builder needs. Also ho and O scale train sets. Bachman and Lionel. The prices are very competitive, the store is very organized and easy to navigate, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Excellent experience and will return often.

This store has everything you need to engage in your favorite scale replicas or tabletop war-games. Any of the modeling or terrain building materials you think of can be found here. I’d rate a 7/5 if I could.

I’ve been looking for a local hobby shop that was well stocked & I was pleasantly surprised to find this one! They have the most GUNPLA in stock that I’ve seen, and I’ve driven all over Raleigh looking. Their prices are very reasonable & the owners are super friendly!! Will definitely be supporting this business again in the near future.

The best paints in all 3 leagues. The owner (Michael Guest) is committed to the hobby and to modelers. Don’t forget to take advance of a loyalty card. Get a punch for every $10 spent!

Popped in while driving from Charlotte to Raleigh for business after I learned of a new hobby store that opened. I am just sad its not closer to Charlotte as it is a good find with two aisles of paints (full lines of Acrylic/Lacquer Tamiya, Vallejo, Mr Color, and his own line of enamels called MCW), lots of good tools and a huge selection of new and older kits of armor, aircraft, and cars. Had some nice ship kits too. Owner is very personable and friendly to talk to and is interested in being involved in regional/local clubs!

No more driving to Cary or Fayetteville for a model kit. Love this place.

I really like this shop. I've gone in a few handful of times and the owners have been super welcoming and helpful every time. Their inventory is great as well.

Extremely disappointed. This town needs a “hobby shop” I was expecting to walk in and purchase an RC plane or Boat!! I was extremely excited followed by disappointment when I walked in and ALL the shop has is paintable models that you put together. I could order that online . I was really hoping for some RC stuff . But typical Sanford can never get it right.

Probably not going to be in business long if they can't decide on when to be open...closed when I got there at 1245 when Google maps says they close at 5
