We used Teresa from Honeymoon Islands for our honeymoon and thank god that we did. First of all her knowledge of destinations and resorts was heads and tails above the other travel agents we spoke with. She answered all our questions, gave recommendations, provided feedback, and then let us make the decision we wanted, instead of trying to push us one way or another.

Once we started talking specifics she made sure she checked many different properties and options to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, and sent us prices for each option for us to compare. If we changed our mind, she would quickly get us a new list of options and prices to review.

Of course our trip was interrupted by COVID, which caused us to have to change our plans. Teresa was on top of everything. Constantly monitoring updates from our resorts and the country we were traveling to (St Lucia). She often would email us even before we would see updates in the news. When we made a decision to change plans... she went to work immediately confirming new reservations, and contacting the resort or airlines. She was willing to do whatever it took to get our issues resolved. She even advocated for us on multiple occasions when we felt the change policies were not fair, and ended up getting us some significant refunds that we otherwise would have lost. I cannot imagine trying to navigate this situation without her.

As for the trip when we finally got to go. Her recommendations were spot on. She said the room would be spectacular... it was (see photo). She said the food was incredible... it was. She said the sister resort is not as nice... it wasn't. She told us you can't pick a better place... she was 100% correct. She knew what she was talking about... and didn't embellish anything. We got exactly what we expected based on what she told us.

We also double checked pricing for our trip directly from the resorts and it matched what we were being charged. Meaning that Honeymoon Islands did not mark up the prices. I don't know if this is normal or not, but not something we had to deal with regardless.

We will certainly be using Teresa for our next vacation.

Teresa helped us book our honeymoon and it was super seamless. It was great not worrying about my transportation as we went from the airport and inbetween hotels and just have a great itinerary where I didn’t have to worry. She was able to suggest some great hotels as well! We loved the fact that we paid our flights and deposit upfront and then the bulk after the wedding as well because our trip was two months after the wedding.
I would recommend using them if you just want to plan a trip especially with multiple hotels. Teresa was super responsive and quick with any questions!

My husband and I just went on our 4th Caribbean trip planned by Teresa. Without exaggeration, each trip has been amazing! Last week we celebrated our 30th anniversary at Hermitage Bay in Antigua. The only downside was the sadness we felt when we had to leave. What a beautiful escape from everyday life. Teresa worked with me to reschedule this trip twice since it was originally scheduled in April of 2020. She kept in touch with me throughout the process and helped me to know exactly what to do to make our trip happen without a hitch! Teresa knows what is important to us. Her experience and confidence have helped send us on four vacations that we never believe can be matched... until we go to the next place! We just returned home after a wonderful trip that Teresa planned for us. We were a bit nervous traveling during the Pandemic, but felt extremely safe the entire time. I've used Honeymoon Islands twice in the past 4 years, first for a trip to Iceland and just this summer for a trip to Wyoming. Both trips were wonderful & met all my expectations. Wow wow wow is all we can say about Teresa at Honeymoon Islands. We used her to plan our dream honeymoon back in January, and she wayyyyyy exceeded our expectations. Our honeymoon was a once in a lifetime experience thanks to her.

When we started planning our honeymoon, we knew there was a posiblitily that we would have to move the dates due to work. Having never utilized a travel agent before, we were so pleased to learn that Teresa could manage all of those changes for us with ease if necessary! She answered all of our questions, gave recommendations, provided feedback, and then let us make the decision we wanted, instead of trying to push us one way or another.

Our first meeting went a bit like this: "We want to go to Fiji and New Zealand on this budget. We like doing fun things, but we also like relaxing. We'd love some upscale hotels, but nothing that will break the bank." Within a day, Teresa had a few different itinerary options written out for us with different price ranges and activities listed.

At one point, we even threw a curve ball her way when we found a chalet we wanted to add to our itinerary off the beaten path. Having never worked with that particular accommodation, Teresa called them, set the whole thing up, and added it to our trip. We had such a good time at the Milford Sound Lodge that we even decided to stay an extra day. We sent an email to Teresa mid-trip, which she had asked us to do if anything changed, and she took care of moving our rental car drop-off to the next day.

Not only did she arrange all transportation, accommodations, etc. making our lives SOOOOOO much easier, the places she recommended we stay were next level incredible. Our resort in Fiji has to be the happiest place on Earth, with the kindest people, best food, and views one typically only imagines in movies and postcards. The resort staff greeted us with song and drink, moving us beyond words- so much so that we actually wept upon leaving.

Teresa, we are extremely grateful for your help and expertise. We will be lifelong friends and clients and look forward to travelling again with your help (as soon as covid kindly stops messing with all of our lives).

Teresa helped me plan a 2 week honeymoon to the Maldives and Phuket. She is very easy to work with, and took care of us well. Her recommendations for the Maldives and Phuket were amazing. WOW!!!! I do not even know how to describe the feeling I get when I think about the vacation my husband and I recently took. It’s all thanks to Teresa. Teresa was great in finding us our dream honeymoon spot. She kept us up to date in covid regulations and procedures as soon as they were published. Would highly recommend!

Teresa Belcher was a Godsend with planning and took all the stress out of everything. We decided to go to Sanctuary Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Sanctuary was absolutely gorgeous. We got a wicked good deal with the specials they’re running right now, and fact that they weren’t even at 45% capacity when we were there made us almost feel like we had the whole place to ourselves.

We went with the Monarch Oceanfront Villa, and got number 1005 (little video below), which had the rocks outside the balcony.

All-inclusive and adults-only (we have a bunch of kids, so we didn’t want to leave them all back home to go hang out with other people’s kids). The food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic—mamajuana for the win.

We stayed on the resort most of the time, only leaving to go deep sea fishing one day and play with dolphins another. We learned that Cap Cana is private property, with only 4 entrances, and very safe.

In all honesty, the resort was everything we wanted and more. It was paradise. But what will have us coming back multiple times is the staff. The absolute nicest, most genuine people we’ve ever interacted with.
