Rick and Peggy run their family craft store like they're family to everyone who enters. Every award I've ever received since 2012 has been framed by Rick because he makes them look AMAZING for less than what I paid for basic frames elsewhere. I'd give them TEN stars if I could.

Rick, Peggy and Anna are exceptional! The five items I took to be framed were perfect! The store is also chock full of crosstitch items - patterns, fabric, hoops, floss, scissors, needles - anything associated with stitching. And their wealth of knowledge regarding framing and stitching is huge!

I visited your lovely shop today with my 2 year old grandson Camden. This was our first time in your store.
Camden loved your dog as well as l loved shopping. I so much enjoyed looking through a lot of the crossstitch patterns and buying some as well as some linen fabric. We were both treated so nice by every worker in the store. I definitely will be returning to your store the next time I'm down that way. Thank you all for a great shopping experience. Your
the best.

There is nothing better than finding a specialty store you've been looking for! This store has everything you need to cross stitch plus framing for any artwork. The owners and staff are simply the nicest, most helpful and extremely customer focused! I've never been in a store where they know not only the products, but the designers themselves, or a history of the product. Impressive is an understatement! They also offer classes, stitching get together days and events. Not only will I be returning but I'll be singing their praises to everyone I meet!

Crafty Framer has made my family so happy. They have framed multiple pieces of my Grandmothers art and they have turned out fabulous. Peggy was such a great help in selecting the matting and framing. Turned out absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much!

I went to this store for the first time today and absolutely LOVE it. Peggy is an amazing woman. She took time with me explaining the floss, material, kits, etc. I spent an hour and a half there and will DEFINITELY return again and again. As an avid cross-stitcher, this was a WONDERFUL experience. I did not meet her husband...YET...but will once I bring my present project in to get framed. EVERYONE...customers included, were very personable and I look forward to being part of this "group."

You need to allow plenty of time to see all this treasure chest has to offer. Wonderful people and a really good thread choice, the shop is full of worked samples to inspire you. Lucy the poodle is a cutie too. Tip: have lunch at the grill on the corner, good food and then go back to the cross stitch shop to see what you have missed earlier.

This place is located right next to the Mugs n' Jugs on Keene & East Bay Drive. I went in with a unique piece to frame and a very tight budget. I was thinking I could compare prices with the big name 'M...' craft store, but was really surprised to find an even better deal. Not only did I get a better price, I know my piece will be framed with pride, because this isn't just a regular job for them. The owners are incredible, wicked funny, and really know their stuff about art and the craft of framing... oh yeah, ask Mrs. about the different types of glass! We had three opinions: his, hers and mine for the project and ended up with something magical! I'm grateful that I chose the Crafty Framer. Do yourself the favor, support local business, and save yourself a lot of money too!

If you want excellent framing of your art work this is the place. Rick is the framer and Peggy is the front of the house person. Expect no rush service. Peggy will not tell you what to do but will help you select from there extensive inventory of frames and mats to help you get the best results. She has MANY years of experience to help you with your selections. to get the finished project you will be very satisfied with. They have framed about 25 to 30 of my wife's pieces and we have been completely satisfied with every one.

You will not find more honest and hard working
business owners than Rick and Peggy Wittlake. As a cross stitcher, I have had many pieces framed. You will not be disappointed. The huge selection of cross stitch supplies is heaven! They go above and beyond and take pride in their work.
