Five stars to Karen, a customer service supervisor at the West Milwaukee location! I received a text notification that my package was undeliverable due to there being no such address. Turns out the sender labeled it incorrectly. In less than ten minutes Karen figured it out and contacted the mail carrier who brought it right to me. Thanks Karen!

Never had a problem with this post office. Employees are always friendly and explain things in detail. Most of all my experiences with USPS has been quite positive. Any issues have been remedied rather quickly. Sometimes you have to wait a bit because of longer lines but thats how it is. Ive briefly met a few a few postal workers in the field and have always shared a short friendly dialogue. No problems to date. Thanks for your service!

I received I notice of undelivered package since I was not there to sign. After there was no second delivery attempt I looked at the fine print on my notice. Apparently, I had to go to the post office and pick it up myself. While extremely annoying, I am sure there is a reason for having to go out and pick up the package myself. I did not anticipate how far away the post office was from where I lived and I'm assuming that they serve a large part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. I did not plan enough ahead since I was used to there being practically no one in the middle of a work day at a post office, even around the holidays. So I cannot fault this location for my lack of planning.

It was the week before Christmas, so the line was out the door with four clerks at the counter. From my observation (whenever I looked up from my phone), I noticed more than one postal worker going above what is probably their job description to ensure that's each person's needs are met. More than likely, they were sick of each and every one of us, and overly stressed, that did not show.

When I got to the counter, I got out my ID patted my pockets, checked my purse, and mentally kicked myself since I forgot my delivery slip in my car. The postal worker who was unfortunate enough to deal with me was beyond patient while I pulled out my phone to look up the tracking number and where the package came from so she knew where to look. She even explained how domestic and international packages are sorted whilemy phone was loading very slowly. That was pretty cool to learn.

Like all the other previous reviewers I was not thrilled with having to go to the Post Office and wait in a long line. However it was obvious everyone working was doing their absolute best to accommodate the population they serve.

I don't understand how anyone could give a bad review for this post office. Karen provided me more than excellent customer service as did the carrier (sorry didn't get his name) who also helped get a very irate customer his mail. Karen and the carrier went above and beyond in helping me with my situation. The post offices I have dealt with during these trying times have more than exceeded my expectations...they work so hard to get everyone's mail to them. Thank you for all you do!

I'm not sure what is up with these other bad reviews. Some people just like to complain it seems. After reading the bad reviews I was a bit skeptical about going here, but I'm glad I did anyways. The guys behind the counter were very polite and helpful. All of my questions were answered thoroughly. I waited approximately 30 seconds in line. I didn't have a box for my package and they were able to help me find the right box and even made sure I got the lowest rate. All of these other idiots just want to complain about something it would seem.

I have a wonderful mail person. He knows that it is difficult for me to get my mail. He knows who I am and where I live. If I am in my car either coming or going, if I pull up by him, he will give me mail. It is such a big help for me. One day when delivering my mail, he smelt gas. He immediately called WE Energies. (I was doing laundry and my dryer wasn't working properly.) Thank you for this act of kindness. I have been to many different post offices in Milwaukee. I have not had bad experiences at any of them. And, why is it necessary to mention someone's physical attributes? Why is it that when people have to wait in line at the bank or the grocery store, they never complain. But when they wait in line at the Post Office, that is all they do? Maybe people should look inward first. What would people say if they wrote a review about you? If you don't like the Post Office, there are other options. You can get items thru self-serve. You can use a courier service. There is always FedEx or UPS. Oh and by the way, the Post Office is NOT owned by the government.

I had a package that was supposed to be delivered today but the drivers on Sunday said the address was wrong and never delivered it. After calling them I found out that the drivers on Sunday are replacement drivers and typically do not know the area. The man on the phone took down all my information, apologized profusely and assured me that I would receive it tomorrow. He is in charge of checking the mail and even wrote down a note to make sure that my package goes out tomorrow. He said to call if any issues arose tomorrow, although I am sure they won't. He was very kind and I appreciated how quickly he worked on this issue. Technically my package shouldn't even come until tomorrow since I had 2 day shipping and I ordered it last night. So it will be delivered on the correct date. Excellent help here!

It may seem odd to review a Post Office but the West Milwaukee branch has some unique assets. It is a ‘full service’ branch which means you can apply and submit the forms for a passport. The lobby is open 24/7 and you can do a significant amount of mailing without having to worry about office hours. Packages cannot be too large for the self serve area nor can they be international addresses but everything else if fine. (The only thing missing is the tape for closing the boxes.) This is extremely convenient if you work a day shift full time which would require a trip to the P.O. on a Saturday (don’t, waits are too long). The lobby self-serve has a scale and a way to determine whether your package is too large for self mailing. You can even buy stamps from the machines.

I have had the worst luck with the location on Greenfield Ave. I left that location in tears because of their rudeness when I just needed a little help. So, I drove to this location hoping for a better experience and I definitely received it. The gentleman was kind, professional and fast. He knows the ancient chinese secrets lol THANK YOU for being kind sir... it is not taken lightly.

"Miller parkway USPS branch is very fast paced with great staff. The supervisor is such a wonderful lady. The staff will help out with any problems you might have with your packages and find you the best price to match your needs.

I think they should change the name. Because, Postal is such a small part of what they do there...
The people who work the service counters are amazing....All the know how, insight, information, not to mention the "people sence".
America's Government Services Centers or the AGSC...
Postal is negative and no longer accurate....I can invision a time where mail is completely privatized...And, We will still need the good olde AGSC....
POSTAL = Junk mail and Government nonsense...with the occasional Holiday card....If I was called a postal worker. I'd likely take it as a slur....Let there be the AGSC workers....
Please thumbs up if You like this review
