Made appointment for passport. We were there 15 minutes early than appointment time. The lady at the counter was nice and helpful. My bad I didn't look at her name. Greet us before and after. Thank you for great customer service. Total process time was less than 5 minutes.

One of the major post office hubs in the SGV. They accept mail drop offs as late as 7pm Monday to Fridays and as late as 6:30pm on Saturdays.
You may even drop off Priority Mail and First Class packages on Sundays from 2 - 6 pm at the back.

The guys in the back bulk delivery are awesome. Some of the most understanding humans I have met. They open 9 to 7pm Monday to Saturday. They open SUNDAY??? Yes they are. Remember this is all the back. Stay away from 6pm to 7pm it's CRAZY packed with cars, carts and boxes flying everywhere

I have been using this facility to most of my mail needs, and services has always been relatively fast and easy. Most of the counter people are very polite and courteous. No problems so far. They have a low rating on Google reviews, but its not that many considering the amount of satisfactory customers that used this post office. Happy customers dont often leave comments, only the dissatisfied customers do.

I've shipped about 200 packages a day for close to 3 years. They all get processed here. I only get 1 complaint a month, and it's been less as time has time gone on. That's pretty damn good. I can get guys working 7 days a week because this place is open 7 days a weeks.

In terms of government workers, you can do no better. If you want to feel bureaucracy, wait in line at the West Covina DMV, while workers eat cookies and have tea on the clock.

I’ve gotten every single package through this facilty with no delays. The other people in the reviews are obviously are telling lies. I’ve been a buyer from eBay for more than 3 years mostly they go through this facility and make it to my home in Texas quickly. Keep up the good work Industry

[READ_ME] Pretty happy w/ service I've gotten here. The clerks in front have always been pleasant; Customers need to treat them w/the same respect & courtesy they'd like; you know, the golden rule! I'm usually surprised the line isn't longer here at the main postal center in the area. It moves pretty fast. We're fortunate to have this primary facility so close (I'm in W. Covina). And the people in back at bulk mail have all been helpful like taking my letter numerous times thru the gate when I missed their cutoff time even up to an hour late- Thank You! And they are always so busy, busy, busy back there working away! No doubt the workers are also working hard back where you can't see them.
(BTW, this is my anti-rant. I'm just warming up. Sit back and enjoy, LoL!)
I understand people can get frustrated when they're waiting for a delivery but just like blaming the waiter at a restaurant it's likely not her fault your food took longer than your stomach wants it. Don't shoot the messenger! You have NO idea how your item is moving thru the system. There has to be 348.316 Million packages, letters & whatever moving in & out of this place every year! Tens of thousands EVERY cotton- picking day!! Put yourself in their shoes when this literal flood of mail comes into them from BOTH directions, in AND out!! And it NEVER stops, it's EVERY single cotton- pickin' day! ...um, wait... I already used that phrase didn't I? Oh well ;-) We should go watch YOU at work & complain about you! :-(
So who the heck knows what's going on with your itty-bitty item? Nobody is intentionally holding your box to irritate you. They want to get rid of it to make room for the gazillions of others! Put a GPS in the box and track the darn thing minute by minute to see what's going on w/it, good grief! You can't always trust the tracking info online every single second. Park in back for the last hour of the bulk mail gate's intake & see how many gazillions of packages come pouring in... Wow!!

I've always been very pleased with the service here ... as long as I get there on time!! But that's on me when I don't. The people on the loading dock have also been very helpful in taking my letters when I've missed the last pickup time ... if I get to the back of the facility at the screen door, if I can catch a dock worker's attention, they've ALWAYS helped me get my letter off, as long as the last truck hasn't left yet.

I've often ridden my bike here (takes about 20 to 25 minutes) and have so often appreciated the kind and understanding help... especially when I got there after the last box pickup time, but they've still taken my letter - usually a birthday card or something I' trying to get a postmark on, or meet someone's birthday delivery date.

And inside the facility, tho the line sometimes moves slowly depending on how much service is being provided by the clerks, once it's my turn, they've always been very helpful in making sure I make the right delivery option... sometimes has helped me saved from $5 up to $10.

I think the super-negative reviews here are people who get mad at anything, expecting absolute perfection from everyone which is totally unrealistic. I'm sure these complainers are far from perfect, but blame everything on others, Oy vey!!

I completely agree with Tahashayaan, tho I'm not an Ebay-er.
Thank you, Gale Ave Post Office - keep up your good work!!

Many times there are no updates on tracking, so just because it states your package has been there for 1-2-3-4-5 days... does not mean it's sitting there! It means tracking hasn't been updated, I've had many package show no update for days until it was delivered...CALM DOWN PEOPLE!

They are very nice and helpful. It is not fair that we give bad reviews to businesses when something goes wrong, but when they do good we do not take the time to give a good one. They have answering all my questions, and you can tell they care for us "customers".
I have been in Hacienda Heights since 1999, and I like my postal office.

USPS gets a seriously bad rap. I've had hundreds of packages processed through this facility, and every single one has been in and out within hours. Screw-ups happen, but any large logistics operation is going to have that. Carry insurance if it's something you can't afford to have lost in the mail!

From my understanding the reason everyone’s mail is so slow now is because this administration decided to tell them they can no longer work overtime. So mail they don’t get to just sits now. Not Usps fault, this is our government giving us the finger.
