The Little Sombrero

I ordered the smoked chicken taco and beer battered avocado taco. My husband ordered the carnitas quesadilla. I love the smoked chicken taco, it was the second time I’ve had it. The avocado taco was ok, avocado was fresh, it just tasted too plain for me. The quesadilla was good. Service was great, server was friendly. I love the atmosphere!

This truck is amazing the quesa tacos were delicious as recommended for me by the sweetest lady with the cutest earrings behind the counter. Will definitely be coming back to try more on the menu!

The food was amazing and the service was even better. The young man working the truck was very polite, friendly and took pride in making the food. Highly recommend that you stop in. You won’t be disappointed.

The birria tacos are really good. I actually prefer the chicken ones which I wasnt expecting. Messy, Cheesy, Juicy deliciousness.

Delicious tacos!!! So full of flavor! We had the Birria Taco and Carnitas taco and both were amazing! So far the most flavorful tacos we have had in town. Great salsas and dipping sauce too. Customer service was also great. We will be back!

I've tried many taco places around Jacksonville, and none of them have impressed me like The Little Sombrero has. My wife and I tried them earlier today and we were completely taken by surprise. The Birria was so full of flavor and the fried fish taco was fresh and lite, one of the best fish tacos I've ever eaten. The Birria quesataco looked pretty much like a normal quesadilla but when you dip it in the Consommé Dipping Sauce, it is heavenly. The rice and beans were great and the queso with the fresh chips was awesome! The carnitas were just ok on their own, but when you add some of their red salsa, it's a game changer! The only thing we didn't particularly love was the smoked chicken taco. That's not to say the smoked chicken taco was bad, but everything else was just that much more flavorful. The owner and cooks were extremely friendly and the food came out lightning fast. I don't care how far you have to go to get here (for us it was over a 30 minute drive), it is so worth it!

Excellent!! Had the Baja fish tacos, one of the best fish tacos I’ve had since leaving San Diego. Good heat to the sauce and the fish was perfect. The salsa and chips are also excellent. Nice heat to the salsa and you can taste the fresh cilantro come through. They should bottle that salsa up and sell it!! I will definitely be back.

it’s hard to get Spanish food with real flavor to it, but the birria tacos & quesadillas are absolutely amazing along with the rice and beans. the food has such great spice and a real authentic taste to it. 5/5

I can’t believe there aren’t a million reviews for this place yet. I know they are new, maybe people don’t want to share their secret spot LOL. This place is AWESOME. I just ate there with my family and was blown away by their food. I don’t really write reviews but I totally had to. I’m a picky person, 85 percent of the time I think “meh, it’s good but was it great or worth my money?” This was TOTALLY worth the money. We got the special, which should definitely be on the menu it was something crispy with chorizo, tacos that you dip, and a burrito. The special was only $6 and filled me up before I could eat my other tacos. With the price I was thinking it would be tiny. The worst part about the meal was that we needed lots of napkins LOL. This place is really new and you should go there, eat, and leave a review. This place needs to get the word out. It’s WAY too good. I have heard rumors that they are selling out of their specials everyday so business can’t be too bad. Run, don’t walk to The Little Sombrero at The Villlage Garden on Anastasia Island.

I wanted to try something new, found this place located at a food truck park. It was awfully quiet for a Sunday afternoon, I still decided to try it. Anyway I ordered a birria burrito and it was a meal in itself. All contents of the burrito tasted delicious, hot and slightly spicy. Birria meat, rice, beans, avocado, cheese, and pico. Everything was fresh. I highly recommend this place!

Tacos were the best we’ve ever had! Highly recommend trying them. So sad we’re from out of town because we’d definitely eat here again. 10/10

Found this place by chance. I am so fortunate. Highly recommend. I have only had the chicken quesadilla which was amazing. I will travel to try other menu items. Worth the ride.
