A serious classic hole in the wall with good food and service people that do their best. There are at least 10 regulars that are there for breakfast daily, along with a variety of professionals that know good food at reasonable prices. We've been there about 20 times in the past 5 years, and the food is consistently good!

It's been many years since we've eaten here, and dang, what we've been missing out on is the freshest breakfast we've had at any restaurant around. They are newish owners, friendly, quality service, great prices, one of the cleanest places we've eaten at. The food was so fresh and delicious. Not gourmet or fancy, just really good breakfasts. Home cooking away from home. I didn't have my phone or I would have taken a photo of my perfectly cooked eggs and French toast. Their bacon is some of the best I've ever had. APPLEJACKS on Valley Blvd. GO you wont be sorry.

Nice environment. Tables spaces out well, all of the servers were prompt and very polite, prices were fair, coffee was good, and the food was quite delish, especially their salsa verde. This restaurant is cash only, but they have multiple signs around, on the door, and the menus, so you can't say you weren't warned. I had the Huevos Rancheros today and was pretty satisfied with how they came out along with the rice, beans, and side of bacon. I can say it tasted like a very fresh, flavorful, home cooked meal. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their other items.

Delicious Food! The prices were very reasonable and the portion size was generous. I ordered breakfast, but a lot of people were coming in to get the daily special (Thursday/meatloaf). Lol, they were disappointed because they were out before noon. Apparently they have great food all around and a very loyal customer base. I would definitely return!

Probably one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a very very very long time. The service is very fast, they are constantly attending to our needs or wants, the food is amazing with great big portions. The staff was cheerful and very personalizable. If you are looking for a mom and pop location with amazing food this is it.

Don't mind the picture just me enjoying my coffee at this great location. I am not from this area just a passing by and I don't know anyone at this location. I will be coming back.

Apple Jacks is a small family-owned restaurant in El Monte. The food is always very good. The service at the tables is good...always refilling coffee and water. The food takes a long time to get to the table since there is one cook. If you don't mind a little wait, the food is worth it.

This is a great place to have a bite to eat, most places are a one time quick stops. Not this place this place has genuine service and customer appreciation, the owner is such a great reasonable person, all of the customers whom eat at this place are very long time customers, as a returning customer I have never encountered any prior issues or irrelevant prices.
- I must say if your a person whom enjoys the homemade or home cooked feel to your restaurant then this a great place to eat breakfast and some daily specials that the restaurant has to offer.

-The daily special varying daily , ( depending on the day of the week food is available for that day only ).

-Wednesday is a day I recommend for the soup of the day.( meatballs/vegetables, albóndigas )

The pancake’s , waffles , and coffee are one of a kind I’ve been to places that boast about the coffee and pancakes but have not been equally impressed to the food that served ( Apples Jacks ). The country breakfast is another plate that I would recommend to trying out here.
- ( The coffee alone is out standing if your a person whom enjoys coffee to start the day I highly recommend a cup to go. )

A hidden classic hole in the wall! The woman that runs it does it all herself and the regulars help out by refilling coffee cups and busing dishes. The morning regulars bring a very congenial atmosphere, everyone knows each other and it's a nice entertaining breakfast. Food is very good and at very reasonable prices. Good parking too!

Great food homemade taste. The service it's attentive and they have a welcome attitude. Cash only or you could Zelle them. The prices are reasonable.

My wife and I stopped here on a trip to the beach and all I can say is... follow all the reviews to a great breakfast at a great price with great service. Only thing to remember is that this is a CASH ONLY business. Worth every penny!
