My mom and I had to go into the post office today to ship something. We both agreed that the person helping us was the nicest customer service personnel we've come across in a long time let alone at the post office. She was very pleasant and helpful. I accidentally used some kind of priority envelope that would have cost $27 and she switched it to the cheaper one we wanted quickly and without prompting which brought the price down to $6. My mom is doing the surgery on their receipt for her, but I wanted to post this one Google reviews as well since most people only take the time to review negative experiences although the exceptional ones should be noted as well.

I mail A LOT of packages weekly and this friendly staff has been nothing short of awesome every time I've been in!

I stopped in Friday, 9/30/22 close to close time. Just needed a stamp and a letter mailed. I get generally get a rude, short, overtly frustrated attendants at most post offices. The female postal worker on the counter took my letter with a smile, put a stamp on it and genuinely wished me a good weekend. She's always like that.

Wow! Shadei and the folks at the Joppa USPS are FIRST CLASS! My PO Box subscription expired while I was away and it took me awhile to discover that. Fearing that all my mail was being rejected I called the Joppa facility panicking and expecting the worst, or at best a horrible run-around. On my very first call I spoke with a real person, Shadei, who to my amazement, pleasantly said she could hold the mail while I renewed online in the coming days (since I was away). What a relief! Renewing online via the USPS website did not get me my old PO Box number back, but once again, Shadei to the rescue. When I called she asked me to hold on for a couple of minutes while she spoke with the PostMaster there. When she came back on the line, she told me she got my old PO Box number back for me and it was all resolved as if nothing had ever happened. I can not remember EVER receiving such prompt, cheerful, and effective service from any goverment agency, ever! 5+ Stars! Thank you to Shadei and the team at Joppa!

I never had an issue with this post office until today. I go in there with a box and Christmas cards. The attendant asked me how many cards I had because (in her very rude voice) doesn't count cards. Once she knew my package wasn't fragile she tossed it in the bin. Wish I knew her name because I'd put it out there. She needs to be a little more pleasant!

I've noticed over the last few weeks different mail carriers daily on my street. This past week the lady who has been delivering my mail has given my mail to another house for the 3rd day in a row. This needs to be addressed and fixed ASAP. (Rumsey Island near Church)
