I ate brunch at Honeycomb Cafe today and was very pleased with the experience.

Staff: We were greeted and sat immediately, our server (Isaac) was at the table with waters within a few minutes, was knowledgeable about the menu, and had good suggestions. He was attentive without being overbearing.

Food:. I ordered the pimento cheese biscuits with fruit parfait. I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size. The biscuits were perfect with a honey glaze on top. The fruit was fresh and delicious.

Cost:. Two meals and two drinks was $55. It's more than I expected to pay, but brunch is typically more expensive and the food quality makes the price understandable.

Overall, I have nothing negative to say about my visit and I will definitely go back.

My 1st coming here and my friend visited several times. I was impressed. Wonderful fresh food, a great and friendly atmosphere, and a very friendly server, Lauren. I love her. She was so nice and funny. I had the French Toast Sammy, which did not need any syrup with a Peachy & a Frosted Mimosa. She had the Vegan Hash and Advacado toast with the same drinks. Both looked and tasted delicious. We'll be back so I can try something else.

So sad that they are getting rid of the dinner menu. The chicken pesto was great! Please at least keep the cocktail menu. There's so many that sound amazing, but I haven't had the chance to try yet.

Brunch is always amazing too. We'll be back soon.

Visited the Honeycomb Cafe for a late breakfast. Plenty of parking available in the back and seated immediately. The hostess was wonderful and our server Rachel checked on us often and kept our glasses full. The food was delicious and I would recommend 100%

We had a great brunch at Honeycomb Cafe. The Biscuit & Gravy with 2 Eggs was very good. I could have ate 10 pcs of the Honey Peppered Bacon. Just wow! Highly recommend.

Made a last-minute decision to drive forty miles to try this place out for the first time. The food was savory and delicious. I had the Countryside Benny, which is a buttermilk biscuit topped with pork tenderloin, sausage, and gravy, with sunny side up eggs.
The gravy was a little thin. The premium side of honey peppered thick cut bacon was wonderful.
My wife had the pancakes with scrambled eggs and home fries.
She didn't care for the seasoning on the home fries, and they also arrived cold, but we didn't mention it.
Pepsi only products and their soda machine mix was flat. The manager comped our drinks.
Our server, George, provided excellent service. We even picked up some cinnamon buns to take home. We'll be back.
If you make reservations online, they are on Toast. They haven't updated the website yet.

The food here was outstanding! We were bummed we tried it on our last day visiting Belmont but it was amazing!
We had a large group 7 people on a Saturday morning but we were seated right away which was awesome! Our server was very attentive and did a great job. The atmosphere is cute and welcoming. This restaurant does not have a cook they truly have chefs!! One great thing I noticed off the bat was all the gluten free options which is great for us because my husband has an allergy to it.
We ordered French toast, chocolate chip pancakes, corned egg hash with eggs and gluten free toast, avocado toast (which my father in law raved about) waffle with fruit and eggs bacon and grits and I had a special chicken and a biscuit. It was a wonderful meal we all throughly enjoyed!!
Thank you honeycomb for giving us a meal to remember!!

My fiancé and I made reservations & ate here for Valentine's Day. This was our first time in the area and at the cafe. This cafe is in such a cute spot with ample parking behind the building (something I'm not used to in downtown Charlotte lol). The appetizers were amazing, but unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture :( In any case, the main courses were amazing as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my grouper, while my fiancé really loved his filet mignon. Both deserts left something to be desired, as well as one of the Valentine's Day drinks. But really, those were my only gripes! The atmosphere was great, service was great. We will definitely be back!

They just added a dinner menu...great flavors, quiet for conversation and no waiting as in other close by locations. Have had shrimp & grits in many places. This was worth talking about.

Need a new place to try with that special person? Give this place a try.

Went for Sunday brunch, Lauren was an amazing server she stopped to check on us very often. I love the front of the restaurant, the atmosphere was beautiful and I love the natural sunlight coming into the front. We sat at a two person table in the front and there was plenty of space in between the tables. I recommend the Feelin' Peachy mimosa if you're into Peach and Lavender. The Waffle and hot Honey Chicken was just as good as I seen on TikTok. The Hot Honey Chicken was so flavorful especially when you mix it with the maple syrup. Definitely am going back again to try the french toast very soon. By the way, there is a big lot right next to the restaurant for free public parking, no stress when it comes to parking.

Great experience here at Honeycomb. The atmosphere was nice and quaint, the service was really good, and the staff were very inviting and nice. The food was really good, my only take away was that the eggs could use some seasoning to really take the dishes thsy contain eggs to another level. I am a food critic so I am a little critical with food, so know that this isn't something that would deter me from returning. The food was actually really Good, great portions, I left full and I will be returning to try more items on the menu. Great job Honeycomb.

On this gorgeous Good Friday, we came for early Easter brunch and everything was top notch!

Two words: cannoli pancakes 5/5
Thank me later!

The breakfast tacos, sweet potato fries *drizzled with honey *, mimosa and blush (prosecco and strawberry puree) cocktails were all fantastic. The decor is charming, the place was hopping and our server was lightning quick. I am already looking forward to our next visit.

We had brunch here for my daughters wedding party. Food was great. My daughter said she had the best pancakes of her life from here.

The brunch is great, but the cocktails and small plates are what make this place really shine. No where else in Belmont can I sit at a bar, utter off a few adjectives or spirits and flawlessly end up with something delicious every time. If you have the opportunity to sit at the bar, treat yourself to this unique experience of custom craft cocktails at its best!

Visited Honeycomb for the first time tonight for cocktails and small bites with friends! HIGHLY recommend the Crab Rangoon Egg Rolls. A MUST when visiting- absolutely phenomenal. Purchased a couple different cocktails (on and off menu) that were all spectacular. Bartenders Jacob and Ian were friendly, very knowledgeable, and accommodating to our group at the bar. A great spot to visit after or before dinner.

This unique looking restaurant was great. The menu had this mushroom hash brown, and I had to try it. It was delicious 😋 My daughter enjoyed her meal as well. I would go back.

Great! This is another Great restaurant in Belmont. I arrived just a bit before the evening opening (5PM). They weren’t busy yet. A lovely lady (did not catch her name)  greeted  and seated me right away. Ian was ready with some water and to take my order. We chatted about drink options, and  I went with the Espresso Martini since they now have an espresso maker. The martini was served quickly and it was very good. Ian included a 3-bean Irish good luck wish with my drink 😊

For my meal, I tried the Smash Burger and a side of brussels sprouts. Both delicious. The burger was juicy, hot  and properly seasoned. I got mine with  cheddar cheese, and it was trimmed with  lettuce, tomato, and some crunchy raw red onions on the bottom.  The  brussels sprouts are just that, little cabbages and very good. I like them, some don’t. But the outer leaves were really crispy and perfectly salted. It was like eating a crispy potato chip. I think even those  who don’t like  brussels sprouts would at least enjoy those crispy outer leaves. Thanks ‘chef.’ JD.

Finally, not on my diet, but I ordered  a huge Skillet Cookie. I got the white chocolate. It was so good, soft, and warm. A good recommendation from Ian.

We have always enjoyed the food and service at Honeycomb Café.

I told some of the staff that I was surprised to see on Facebook only 1 review and it was negative from a year ago?
