High quality ingredients, personable staff, a Buffalo Bills flag, and a heavy metal night. What's there not to love about this place? The seafood selection is astounding, with no shortage of Omega 3's after a meal here. Ample use of rice flour instead of wheat for those avoiding gluten. We had several shrimp dishes and the lamb as well, all punched some serious flavor.

Food was excellent, prepared deliciously. Staff was very pleasent, great location and the kitchen is open late.

Went there for a live show. It was a lot of fun. The live music was excellent, the drinks were good and strong yet still not too much. Staff was friendly and it was a good space with tables, bar and a patio. Would recommend.

Stumbled acrossed this hidden hole in the wall while we were here for a conference. Don't be afraid of the loud roudy pub crowd because their food is authentic Vietnamese style. The owner was really kind and helpful even when we just ordered take out. Their crispy seafood noodle was well made and so hot I couldn't pour it over my noodles right away. (As seen in photo) The taste was not overly savoury or blend like other places. The temperature was still warm after a few bites. Oh the price wasn't bad considering everything else is outrageous these days. We definitely need to go back there again when in town.

How do I rate higher than 5 stars? First of all, whatever seafood you like, order it with the garlic butter sauce. You’re welcome. The drinks were just right as well. This was my 2nd time here and I know I will be back. Secondly, as if the food weren’t enough, they booked a metal show there. NoVa has been lacking metal in the last 15 years or so, so I’m grateful to Rock N Claws for that. Also the owners are incredibly cool and nice. What more can I say? I love this place! 🤘🏻🦀🦞

tldr; Weird ambience/setup, food was tasty, staff was nice, had fun karaoking.

When I first went in, I was a little confused with the setup. There was a bar and some tables. I wanted a table, but it seemed like there was only the bartender. I sat at the table and eventually the bartender gave me a menu. A waiter later came to get my order. So overall weird/confusing.

Ordered fried noodles with chicken. Surprisingly good, especially the veggies. Honestly, thought this place just did seafood. Once I got the food, the staff was very attentive making sure I had everything I needed. Lastly, small crowd for karaoke, but I prefer that over very large crowds.

I have only had amazing experiences here! Great staff, wonderful/flavorful authentic food, and great drinks. A genuinely great place!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Came in and live music was setting up. Was prepping to be overblown and disappointed but instead was super surprised the band was excellent. Owner greeted us multiple times. Food was AMAZING. Definitely will be back!

What a GREAT dinner experience- wonderful service and absolutely delicious chicken vermicelli! Beautiful presentation, so fragrant and fresh tasting- I devoured every bit. Can't wait to bring others- so happy to have such original and high quality cuisine here in Ashburn!

Rock N Claws, the happening place to hang around in Ashburn. Owner and staff are super friendly, it's got a contemporary look with good food, drinks and music on Saturday's.

Rock N Craws is rocking! I wish I would have wrote this sooner. I just assumed everyone was in on the secret. Rock N Craws is legit!

First off, the owner, Tu is probably the friendliest and most genuine owner/person I have been around.

Then comes the food! You can order anything on this menu and leave in a state of Wow! My favorite is the Seafood Pan Fried Noodle, but the signature dish is Sesame Beef! The wings, oxtail, clams w ginger are all superb. If you’re lucky you can order underground items like French Fries w Fried Eggs (trust me, they are money)

They do karaoke, trivia, and everyone is family. If you have not been yet, go asap!

We dropped in after work to have a bite and some drinks. It had a cute and upbeat atmosphere with modern decor and great music. The food was phenomenal! The calamari is hands down my favorite. The grilled clams and shrimp were also super tasty. They have great dipping sauces for their appetizers: a nice umami flavor. My Mexican spicy mule was delicious with just the right amount of “kick”. Great place to grab a bite and have drinks! I’m definitely going to visit again.

We love popping in this place for a quick bite and a good drink. The owner is great and always remembers us and what we've ordered before. They have a really good beer selection and I like the wine list as well. The butter garlic shrimp is my personal favorite, and the owner brings me out a little extra bread to soak up the extra sauce. Definitely one of our favorite local spots.

Not a pretentious place, very friendly! The owner is phenominal, he is usually there and takes pride in his establishment. The staff are friendly. Theres Karaoke on Tuesday & Friday nights, the audio system is much better than other dedicated karaoke establishments.

Try the garlic butter crab legs or calamari! Also there's a great selection of top shelf whiskeys and bourbons...

Stopped in on a whim. We were pleasantly surprised. Calamari was excellent. Ramen was really good. The eggs were awesome. No idea what they did to them, but wow. Service was fantastic, very friendly staff and ownership.

So glad Rock n Claws has come to Ashburn. Love the shrimp, oysters and clams. The shaky beef and fried rice are awesome! Great selection of craft beers. Talented bartenders. Friendly efficient service and super cool owner. Love the music selection, and have enjoyed the live artists on the Fridays that we have been in. Fun place to hang out and watch a game too.
