Spellbound Books

Amazing place to grab some food, a delicious drink, snag a book off the shelves, and just relax for an afternoon. The owners are super nice and inviting, and the space is great to hang out by yourself or with some friends. They also just renovated the back area, which is HUGE, and can host private gatherings. There are also occasional live musicians, who are talented and add to the ambiance.

Not only is the atmosphere amazing and everything you’d want in a local coffee shop, they have small businesses stuff for sale there as well. There is a book for everyone, coffee and food is amazing I got a peppermint mocha iced latte which is the best coffee I’ve ever had and staff is so friendly. This is where I will be getting my coffee from now on.

The owners are super friendly. The food and drinks are excellent. The book selection is always interesting. I love their events as well! Did a great craft class. So much fun.

Such a sweet, clean, and mystical little spot - I got the house salad (SO yummy and healthy!) & a latte; definitely the best latte I've had in town! I can't wait to stop in again and try from their extensive list of bagels and cream cheeses!

Other reviews werent kidding about it being the best coffee in town. Carols has good coffee if you load it with syrup, owego kitchen doesnt have great coffee. I wont even talk about the coffee at drinkin dognuts. This however is a spectacular cup. Not bitter or acidic. The bagels are nice and crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft inside. Small sections of bookshelves held my attention better than staring at a whole wall of books. Nice little combo coffee shop bookstore

The bagels are delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are absolutely lovely! We had accidentally left behind a pair of headphones and when I came back later that day, I was recognized and was given the headphones back from their lost and found quickly.

Lovely coffee shop with cozy welcoming vibes and delicious coffee!! Had so much fun at the coloring table and my partner had fun playing with the typewriter :)

Best coffee in town by a long shot. The seasonal iced blueberry lattes are AMAZING. If you aren’t a coffee person, blueberry is included in their flavored Italian sodas. The blueberries are locally sourced from a family farm which makes it all the sweeter of a treat. Go try one before they are gone!

While you sip you can explore and observe the intricate attention to detail that makes this place a true gem. Must see spot in Owego!

I love this place! The owners are very welcoming and the atmosphere is comfortable. Books are categorized well so it’s easy to find the genre you want. Also, they have the best espresso drinks in town!

Quaint bookstore with wonderful coffee from copper horse in Ithaca. Owners are very kind and inviting. Small amount of seating to peruse a book or two while sipping on espresso. Other local handmade goods as well.

Fantastic place, bagels were tasty, cappuccino was great (they have Copper Horse coffee), and a fun selection of books too. The dude was super nice and obviously proud of his business - which he should be!!
