Soul Book Nook

I had a wonderful and endearing shopping experience at this independent bookstore. Instead of waiting for an online order, I found both books I wanted right away. The owner was not only personable but offered great recommendations, stories, and perspectives.

The Soul Book Nook has a book for every reader, and I wholeheartedly encourage others to explore and support the passionate, dedicated owner whose mission is to serve and uplift our community.

This is my favorite bookstore! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the owner is extremely kind and gives back to the community, and the books are extremely reasonably priced! I stop by to get books for my classroom all the time!

I had a wonderful and magical experience in this bookstore & gift shop. The store has a beautiful collection of books and is invested in expansion and to keep evolving into more. Amber is personally working on getting a textbook for me as we speak! How amazing! She has a lot of cool, healthy and fun products to share with the community especially unique teas and elixirs and more. This is a must…stop into this bookstore.

Small independent book store. Nice old building with character. Staff was very nice and helpful. Across the street from a nice little park and beer garden where you can sit and enjoy reading your new books.

Great book store, spoke with owner and was very impressed with the plans she has for the community, I have made plans to take my 6yrs old niece to pick up book I ordered for her of
BLACK WOMEN LEADERS, looking forward to getting her involved at a early age of reading books and less time with her tablet.

She has a lovely, inviting store filled with an impressive variety of genre and gifts. I thoroughly enjoy each time I visit.

Neighborhood bookstore, great selection, friendly staff.

Tried this independent bookstore in downtown Waterloo ... and won't be returning. Phone dealings with staff / owner were confusing, and less than respectful. Sorry I placed an order, and certainly won't be returning. Gotta do better if you want to win sales unread of the local mall bookstore and Amazon.
