Doc Popcorn

Today was opening day, but they had their act together! They have 20 flavors of Dippin' Dots along with 8 flavors of popcorn. They allow samples, and everything was yummy. The salespeople were helpful and friendly.

The caramel bliss Popcorn is amazing! The white cheddar is a close second. If you haven't tried their popcorn flavors you should they have always been fresh and tasty!

I had the cheesy cheddar and it was delicious. The customer service was also outstanding.

Stopped by today and was great experience. Friendly staff, manager was very pleasant. Popcorn was fresh. Would definitely stop by again.

Those pop dots Ice cream was da bomb! And their Carmel bliss popcorn is Soooooooooooo darned good, I'm totally impressed & will be back

Great customer service. They have a huge selection. Bring cash as credit cards are not set up yet.( but it's coming!) Free Samples of just about everything!

Visited the location Tanger outlets. Popcorn is really good but customer service was horrible.

Great customer service! Everyone was fiendly! Especially the manager with the glasses.. she was awesome. Me an my wife stopped by a few weeks ago, and they where pretty busy.. she handled it while still showing great attitude an customer service.. my wife mentioned how nice she was to all the guess an how patient she was with everyone asking for samples an waiting on everyone. "Great multitasker". We definitely will be back an we hope to see her there when we return!! The cheesy popcorn an Oreo dots was great by the way! I recommend to everyone!!

Limited selection but very good. I got the 30 dollar tin to take to work and my coworkers liked it. Very friendly staff.

This popcorn is delicious. I love coming here. My favorite three so far is the Carmel, Cheddar Cheese and Jalapeño. I’ll be back.

NOTE: This review is for the Greensboro Friendly Center location. They started out great, but now they are ripe with quality control issues and inconsistent flavoring. They skimp on refills unless you press them to fill it to the top, and the caramel bliss is barely coated (see photo), so it tastes more like buttered popcorn with a hint of caramel. I don’t know it this is a training issue or if it is a cost-cutting issue, but if they don’t fix it soon, we will no longer be going to this location. Finally, the popcorn seems to have way too much skin and is often in crumbles (again see photo). They can do better.

Popcorn apparently isn’t for white people....

Today I experienced the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life.

I experienced the most blatant exhibition of overt racism I have ever experienced.

I am white.

The cashier was African American.

My wife and I waited in line about 10 minutes until we were at the front of the line.

The cashier then served the African American patrons behind us without acknowledging us.

While that customer was paying she acknowledged us and said “ I’ll be right with you” then proceeded to do some other behind the counter tasks.

About five minutes later she looks right at me and says “I can help the next customer” and proceeds to walk directly toward and started helping the African American customers behind us.

This was completely unacceptable.

This was such a blatant display of racism against us for being white that we just left.

The place was also filthy, popcorn all over the floors and tables like it hadn’t been cleaned all day.

And the shelves in the back had empty drink cups and random garbage in them. And a random lemon...

Avoid if you are white.

Note to management: I’d love to discuss this further with you.

Visited mebane location 2nd time in a year. First time two weeks ago I had to bring back popcorn because better butter was stale. I had no complaints with the assistant manager . This past week I went in and asked questions about a child sized popcorn bag. I was told abruptly and rudley by the manager "Mam that must have been years ago. I told her when I ordered from door dasher sometimes the guys that worked there would include a small bag so I could pour smaller amounts into smaller bags to keep the bigger bags from getting stale. It was a real treat. She told me abruptly Mam we never had kid 🎒 She became confrontational in her tone of voice and approach.
Finally she told me my assistant told me about you Mam in case you came back to complain. She said go ahead and write a negative review. My employee will be my witness against you and positive on my behalf. In fact mam I'm going call my boss now. Oh yeah she said I gave you a discount. I told her I appreciate it but I didn't ask for one. She stated Mam you are taking our conversation out of context. It was not all that much. I will not shop there anytime in the future. My conversation with the assistant manager went well. We even talked about her pending dental work with aspen. I will not ever shop there again. When I lived at Ashbury Square I'm mebane for three years I ordered via doordash or grub almost twice a week every week.I thank God 😊 🙏 💛 for the time I did shop there. I came there for a treat since I'm fasting for Lenten season. God bless you !!

Not off to a good start for this to be a new location.....

Stopped by yesterday and the facility was unsanitary. Popcorn in the floor, and tables not wiped down and cleaned afterwards.
