This place it’s a hidden gem, I’m doing a cinco de mayo party and I wanted to try the tamales before I go ahead and ordered, it’s so good, fresh, they give you also with the tamales a red sauce a little spicy ( I have no idea what’s the name) so good.
I regret not buying more than 2 to try , but I’ll be back to try some barbacoa.
They have picnic tables on the side like a garden area.

Amazing place to get food from, products and produce is very fresh and generally amazing quality, good climate in the store customer service wise and everybody is very nice. 10/10 would recommend!

We accidentally found this gem by reading the Google review with the pictures of customers lining up to buy food. We stayed at the Fairfield hotel for three nights and bought food here for the family for four days. I have been to Mexico many times and love their food, and I can attest that Moreno’s food is as good as Mexican food gets. We tried tamales, mutton, cow cheeks and everything is fantastic. The tortillas are made from real corn which is perfect for my wife who is gluten intolerant. To top all of that, the price is very reasonable which is why we were buying everyday staying here. This is a family business run by real Mexican people and the lady (the daughter of the family) is really nice and friendly. We will miss this place going home and certainly will come back whenever we are back to Miami and Keys!

This is one of the very first Mexican stores in South Florida & its still ran by the original owners. Here you'll find Mexican products you wont find in your typical store & if your lucky youll find homemade tamales. I came in here with my mom on Thanksgiving and despite the owner not having more mixtamal (masa for making tamales) she went on and made sure she made us some for our tamales on Thanksgiving.

Best place to buy candy from. Best place to buy any kind of item. Best place to buy cool stuff and the food was pretty good..... now my other personalities will take a shot at these reviews. this place smells like a farm. Do you understand the difference between arithmetic algebra algorithms and let's not forget fractions the omelettry from the greater geometry of the denominator forms ???? Who wants tequila mixed with vodka ? I love how the roof is formed to simulate

You guys need to be up on a roof selling tortillas and Tacos to the roofing guys in Florida City. You people need to understand the fact that you need a green card just to work on the roof

The barbacoa is worth the trip. Delicious and authentic Mexican food, I know, because my Mexican friend said so, and he's truly Mexican. He carries Tapatio hot sauce with him at all times, doesn't know how many cousins he had, and doesn't like the President. Certified authentic Mexican food.

Cash only. They do have an ATM .Barbocoa meat by the pound. Or half pound in my case. They even sell single bud lights for like a $1. Meat comes with hot fresh tortillas and a spicy red salsa for less than $8 if I remember right.

Their tamales are off the chain but you need to plan ahead and get them early, because they sell out fast! They are open early so rise and shine!
