The Carriage Restaurant & Lounge

This place is such a nifty lil spot. Had a hard craving for chicken fried steak. So we quickly googled who would have chicken fried steak close to our home and this place popped up. We went in on a Sunday morning sat at the bar and we were quickly served some morning cocktails and a hot breakfast pretty quick. We were definitely not disappointed in our breakfast and the drinks were very delightful. We have definitely already been back.

The Carriage is more than a restaurant & lounge it is a safe space for anyone & everyone. 😎🤠👽😸 Every night is a different adventure karaoke, darts, EDM dance party with live DJ, live acoustic bands and on the weekends the lovely owner/bartender Mrs.Fae is there to serve you! Food portions are huge dankadent!

It was a great experience, 10/10 would recommend anyone coming though Longview to stop here and try the carriage experience. So let me tell you about mine. It starts with a warm welcome, then you’re almost suffocated by the aroma of a nursing home. When you sit down you wait for the one available waitress and order your drinks. In addition you wait 10 minutes for that one waitress to come take your order. Then you wait another 10 for the waitress to come take your order. And finally you wait another 50 minutes to get the wrong order of food. In conclusion, the carriage is a wondrous place to spend the fist 2 hours of your morning, being suffocated by the smell of a nursing home, and surrounded by great music and horrid tasting food.

Their Mushroom Bacon Swiss burger was delicious fresh sauteed mushrooms not canned crispy lettuce and tomatoes. Crispy crunchy French fries not soggy definitely going back

I didn't try the food, but the Karaoke was fun! Fay is friendly and Greg is up for everyone having a good time.

Great Bar staff! I got a little too drunk last night and they all stayed by my side the entire time I was throwing up until my bf came and got me. Apparently they helped get me in the car. I could not be more grateful for all their help. I could not even began to imagine what my night would've been like if I didn't have their help. So thank you!

The people who work here are REALLY AWESOME & FRIENDLY!!! My 9 yr old great nephew said if he had a phone, he'd give them a 5 star!!! So I said I would right now!!! I've never had a bad meal! You can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner any time

We had a great time. Excellent service, excellent conversation, excellent food, excellent drinks! My husband had the Reuben, 2 Bloody Marys, and a Hefeweizen. I had Cajun pasta. Thank you!

I had drinks and food. A friendly place. Smooth and relaxing atmosphere. Faye is the owner and tends the bar. One of the nicest women I have ever known working behind the bar. Very helpful. Good buisiness.

Food was excellent, staff was excellent. Great atmosphere. Really enjoyed seeing faces without masks - If you want to enjoy a meal without masks this is definitely the place. We will be back for sure.

Fun atmosphere, food was good, owner was great! Their AC had broken during the heatwave, but they definitely still tried to make it comfortable with fans.

We ordered a shrimp and a chicken alfredo and it was delicious! Outstanding flavors brought out the best of the cheese sauce. This place knocked it out of the park!

First time here, showed up on a Thursday which seems to be fortunate as they do a home style special on Thursdays. Good food, mid-range on the prices will return.

Just ordered a delivery of the Fettucini Alfredo and it was the BOMB! I was a little nervous about ordering it because I'm really picky about my alfredo sauce but this sauce is flavorful and super yummy. You can taste the frrsh cream and Parmesian! Hight ly recommend
