Great place to stay and a great price.we rented the Ranger boat with our cabin and it was a great value.we also hired Lee's lite line guide service and he is a phenomenal guide and he is great with kids.i cant say enough good about Rocking Chair Resort its a great place to stay.my wife loved the laundry facilities in the cabin.The resort is clean and very quiet.

Stayed in alot of hotels for my company and this place blew it all out of the water. With thier attentiveness and hospitality gave me and my whole crew the best stay we've ever had. Also the area itself is absolutely beautiful it's its own paradise.

Favorite place to be! The family that runs this place is so awsome, kind and amazing. Dog and kid friendly. By far the best resort for our family in the area.

Absolutely Best Place on Norfolk Lake. This family owned and operated hideaway has a cozy camping feel if you want with their cabins. Condos for comfort and housing for families all near or on the lake. Great views. Excellent Pool and is highly recommended. Personally, the last 7 years in June for 2 weeks . Several families have gone for decades.

This place is great! Our family had five cabins rented for a week and we couldn’t have been happier! The area is very pretty, it’s about 1/4 mile walk down a hill to the water, and there’s plenty to do here. The swimming pool with the slide was great, we all enjoyed the game room with ping pong, pool, and air hockey - and everything was clean and in good working order, which is something you don’t always find at resorts. The staff was incredibly friendly and personable, and they were very accommodating to any requests we made, including extra leashes for our dog to tie around a tree so she could hang out outside with us. We all enjoyed dinners outside together around the fire pits, and there were just enough trees to provide ample shade. Thankfully the air conditioning worked well in each cabin, as it was hot, and the appliances, although old, all worked just fine. We all really had a good time here and made some good memories!

Rocking Chair Resort is a fun way to disconnect (or connect to wifi) and have some fun on the water! I highly recommend you rent a boat (options) or Jetski for the day, and have a fun lake day! From the old school cabins, the individual fire pits, to the pool, with slide you won't be disappointed. Quiet retreat like resort that is perfect and filled with nostalgic vibes if you grew up going to the camp ground! Let's not forget to give a special shout out to Samantha for hosting, Eric for helping some out some pretty cool moms with our boat experience, and Chris and Zach for their quick responses and their hard work on a hot summers day! Forget something or just need a snack? I would recommend you pack some groceries, but dont worry, they have you covered with a cute little shop that is filled with food, snacks, and fun t-shirts!

My family and I had the best vacation here! The staff was so nice and quick on response. Anything that we needed they were always there to deliver within minutes! The cabins are a little old which is what I would expect when I hear or see the word "cabin" but they are VERY clean and had just about everything I needed in the kitchen to cook. We loved how close the pool and game room was to our cabin not to mention the big slide they have! They also have a dock with a cute little swim deck that made it perfect for the kids to swim and jump off of while I laid out in the sun and relaxed. This is just what my Family needed. We will definitely be coming back!

This was a wonderful vacation, much needed. The staff is welcoming, kind and treats everybody as if they are family. Everyday was a new adventure, floating on the river one day, boating on the lake another day, hiking on another and so on. Definitely worth it. Will be back, thank you to Jane, Joan, Robert, Dustin, Levi, and Sam!

Rocking Chair Resort has all of the things to create wonderful memories! Our boy loves fishing off their boat dock, blue gill heaven. Cannot wait to go back next year!

I stayed for a week in one of the cabins and let me just say…. one of the best weeks ever. The resort has the cutest little shop with tons of apparel, basic necessities, & a huge variety of snacks & drinks. The resort has a bunch of hammocks and a jungle course! It also has a game room that’s adult & kid friendly. They ALSO have a movie room (& it’s seriously the coolest). 10/10 service & I was never bored.
Also, shoutout to the Domagalski’s! Have never met a cooler family 😝

I always love coming here! the staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. the cabins are perfect and exactly what you need for a weekend or even a week long stay. The pool is clean and a great size with a slide and floaties available. the deck is perf for san bathing! so close to the Norfolk lake where they have boats to rent. can’t wait to be back!

First off, this place is perfect! We stayed in condo #16. The backyard was fenced in, perfect for our fur babies. The condo itself felt like a true home away from home. If we’re back in the area, we will definitely be coming back. Jane and her family were very welcoming and super friendly!

This was our first time staying at the resort. The staff was above and beyond genuinely concerned with making our stay enjoyable. The cabin was spacious and comfortable and clean. The resorts dock is on a private cove.. we saw bald eagles, deer, and cranes. There is a very clean pool, a hiking path and game room. The town of Mountain Home has many thrift stores and flea markets we enjoyed. This is a place to relax and get away from daily stresses.

Beautiful and quiet. The owners are attentive and kind.

We stayed in a Secluded cabin and it was so nice and quiet. Everyone is very friendly. We had a beautiful view and beautiful surroundings. Everything we needed was already there. Our Chihuahuas were very comfortable too. We did some swimming in their heart shaped pool also. We fished off their dock too.

I'm 43 my family have been having reunion's here since it first opened great place for just adults or the whole family . Has a nice boat dock and Jane will provide each cabin with a boat slip doesn't matter if you are renting from RCR or any marina on the lake. I have so many treasured memories from rocking chair ranch they also have a great pool and game room would recommend for anybody.

I can’t say enough good things about Rocking Chair Resort! My husband and I just left there from our honeymoon trip, and can’t wait to get back! Jane and her family are the nicest people! The cabin was perfect for us. The dock and lake were amazing. The fishing was awesome! I would stay there over a 5 star hotel anytime!

Rocking Chair Resort is not just a resort to most, but a family! If I could recommend Jane and her family any more, I would. They have the most wonderful atmosphere as well as being in the perfect location! 100/10 recommend!
