Cedar Falls Overlook

Such a cutesy place. Plenty of parking. Love walking the boardwalk to get to the overlook. Going on a cold day makes it more romantic because there’s no one around. Wheel chair friendly for the most part. You can hike down to this waterfall on an appropriate weather day but it is a steep incline and decline getting down there.

You can take the trail to Mather Lodge, and then down into Cedar Falls. Trail is strenuous and rocky, but the view at the bottom is even better!

What an amazing view! really breathtaking... I can see why this park fills up fast with waterfalls like this one nestled away and spectacular canyon. The trails around this falls on either side are worth the hike do them all. They are that bad

It has a gorgeous view. You could also go down to see the water falls closely but you would need a 2h hiking. We did not get closer because the water level was low. It would be better to visit around spring.

Came as a family, not too difficult for the young or old. Not smooth terrain, so people with mobility issues would only be able to go about halfway down. That is where the board walk ramps end.

Pretty hike, be sure to follow the orange signs on the trees and you will be fine, during the summer make sure to bring water, and if you are not used to hike, take your time doing the climb in the way back

Beautiful over look. Unfortunately today, the falls was just a cliff, due to no rain in quit a while here. But normally, it's a waterfall.

This is an absolutely beautiful place! You can hear the rush of water from the very top of Mt. Ida, which makes it a lot more fun as you work your way down to the overlook.

So beautiful. Come here with a friend or with the kids. Very very relaxing, and is a great spot to go after a long day. The waterfall is very beautiful, and overall, it shows how massive the park is.

Petit Jean State Park is one of the most beautiful places in Arkansas. Well worth the drive to hike, fish and explore. Stay the night at the beautiful lodge and have dinner overlooking some of nature's best scenery.

Beautiful view that is fairly handicap accessible. With the recent rains, the falls were flowing well.
