Ozark Animal Hospital - Dr. Holt

Very kind group of people , understanding and supportive after one of my dogs had a stroke. They supported me in my time of grief, euthanizing my dog, they put out of her misery, about 1/2 the price of fort smith vets .

I want to especially thank Courtney and Dr. Holt for helping us in our time of need on a large dog. His back was broke and they were the only vet around that could assist us. They were kind understanding and sympathetic to our desire to not cause more harm to our Pyrenees. The trauma of loading him the car to nearest vet made our skin crawl. Our of 7 vets in the area Dr Holt drove over an hour and a half to put our dog down humanely. I know a 22 would work but this one was to special.
Thank you Courtney for understanding and professionalism and Dr. Holt you have clients forever not matter the drive.

Had an emergency with our baby Boston and they saw her very quickly. We have been going for follow ups and Dr Holt and the staff have been there every step of the way. Our baby Iris is getting better!

Dr Holt has seen my big older boy a couple times and I always appreciate the calm demeanor the doctor has with my excitable big dog. And he has taken good care of him during a procedure.

My 8 year old dog would not be here if it wasn’t for them. A week ago she was diagnosed with pyrometra & needed an emergency surgery. Everywhere in my local town estimated $800-$1000+ for the surgery & aftercare. I couldn’t even scrap together half of that if I wanted to rn. I was told if I couldn’t afford the surgery, we would need to put her down so she wouldn’t suffer. So We started calling vets that were an hour away & found this hospital. How ironic is it that the prices I was also given in my town to put my dog down & cremate her was the same cost it would be to save her at this hospital. Besides the fact that they’re the first affordable vet I’ve seen in a while, you can tell they genuinely care about animals. The ladies up front were the sweetest & I can’t thank the whole staff enough for helping my sweet girl. Thank you for loving our fur babies!!

I am a full-time RVer and only passing thru the area and in need of getting my puppy final vaccine booster, they were quick to respond to my email inquiry and got us in same day even without being a current client, I was very happy with their service, puppy handling and pricing was very reasonable. Thanks again for great service!

My dog had been dealing with a topical skin irritation since 03/2023. I had taken her to a vet in Clarksville who misdiagnosed her with a topical yeast infection and told me my dog looked sunburnt. After two more trips to that vet and several treatments later I took my dog to Dr. H. He took not even 5 minutes to look at her and correctly diagnosed her with a Staph infection. Within 48 hours I already saw huge improvements after she was on the correct antibiotics and now 3 weeks later she is back to normal. Reasonably priced as well. I can’t thank Dr. H enough for his knowledge and helping us get our dog healthy again after almost 8 months of her being miserable.

They won my loyalty and trust.

We are so lucky to have Dr. Holt in our area. I have a very old female lab, that, through emails, he suspected needed a hormone shot. She had peeing in her sleep issues. He made a pretty significant road trip to come see her. He gave her an exam, and a hormone shot, in my front yard, and she’s doing much better now. Can’t ask for better service!

They scanned the microchip of a dog that brought to them by Animal control and was going to put her down but DR. Holt said she was to good of dog to be put down . IT was our dogshe had been missing almost 3 weeks. THANK YOU Ozark Animal Hospital

Dr. Holt and his staff are wonderful. My fur babies are always well taken care of. We just recently had to let one of our fur babies go due to his sickness. Dr. Holt handled us and our sweet Mickey with care. My hound dog never likes going to the vet but never tries to bite Dr. Holt like she use to with our old veterinary. He’s very busy but always does his best to fit you in.

Dr. Holt is wonderful with my pets. His staff is friendly and so helpful. Dr. Holt has found and cured things other vets missed. Thank you Ozark Animal Hospital.

Dr. Holt is absolutely wonderful. Recently, our cat was incredibly sick---vomiting, couldn't eat, and appeared to be on the brink of death. I rushed her to Holt's office to get her checked out. He took his time in running all of the necessary tests and quickly found the issue. He ended up having to keep our baby for 2 whole weeks. Dr. Holt made us feel incredibly safe and calmed our nerves greatly. I put all my trust in Dr. Holt to care for our sweet GreyKitty. I am extremely grateful to have such a wonderful vet in our area. We will always use his clinic, as I can't imagine taking any of our babies to anyone else!

I've taken several of my pets to Dr. Holt and his team. They provide excellent care. I'm VERY pleased and so glad we have them here in Ozark!

Reliable, Affordable, Caring. I'm so thankful for Dr. Holt! I needed to get my cat to a vet immediately and when I called they were closed but there was an emergency phone number. I left a message there and within 30 minutes he called and told me he could meet me at his office in a few minutes. He also told me how much it would cost to see him. Which I appreciated a lot. He was gentle and showed genuine concern for my pet. He patiently answered my questions and did not rush through the visit even though he was probably busy and had to drop everything to come meet me at his office. I felt like I was definitely leaving my fur-baby in good hands. Dr. Holt also was considerate and called me personally to update me that evening. Then when I was able to pick up my cat, the receptionist (wish I could remember her name but she was young with light colored hair) was very friendly. I will be switching to this veterinarian clinic from now on!

Dr. Holt has given us hope when we were lost about Penelopes worsening condition with her hip. He found the issue another vet missed and has been going above and beyond in not only finding out the issue, but a treatment course. He also treated our cat Buddy, who was brought to another vet after a dog attack. Buddy is finally eating again and drinking water after seeing him. He squeezed us in for the appt. And let us drop him off. He even came out to ask if i wanted him to give Buddy his medicine, without me requesting it. Trust me if you are not going to find another vet like Dr. Holt, who cares for your pet just as much as you do.

Our Gracie had pretty well used up most of her 9-lives as she was vomiting what she ate before she finished eating it. Couldn't keep any liquid down. So very sick. She was already on an antibiotic but it just wasn't helping so Dr. Holt said he would take care of her. He did. He took 8 days but she is alive, well and back with her brother. Gracie would not be here today had Dr. Holt not just taken her in and loved her well.

Matilda loves this place!! (The cone of shame, not so much) After being hit by a car, they had her feeling better in no time.

Dr Holt is amazing as usual! Such a kind man!
