Dairy King

This is one of my favorite restaurants! Yeah my family have been coming here for 5 or 6 years now and they have excellent food every time and excellent service something you don't see everyday! I would definitely recommend this place if you're hungry for a good burger or some catfish you can't go wrong.

Fish plate is delicious, hot, fresh, and not greasy. They sell lots of burgers that also look very good too. Have ice cream and shakes, but always too stuffed to order one.
Definitely worth the drive from Jonesboro or when traveling through on the way home!

We stopped at the Dairy King in Portia, AR this past week and had a great experience. They were busy so there was a little wait but after a long day of driving, sitting and not doing anything was a welcome change. The food was quickly prepared and was delicious. I had the Reuben Sandwich with French Fries and a side of pickled tomatoes (which I had never had before that day). I highly recommend if you’re ever in Portia, AR.

I had fish dinner with slaw, onion rings, beans, an hushpuppies. It was FANTASTIC! I marked my map so I could stop again!

We’ve eaten at the Dairy King many times, but this review is about two of our customers. Two ladies from the Detroit, Michigan area stopped at the Dairy King before arriving at the James Ranch last week. They raved about the delicious catfish!

First time going. Food is hot and fresh made to order. Tried the burger and the chicken strip and fish. Tater tots . And what they call spicy fries which are just regular curly fries. Sweet tea. Every thing was fantastic.

We were way too full to try the ice cream but we will be back.

Stopping at Dairy King in Portia has been a highlight over the years, especially when I was a kid on family trips. Yesterday, my dad and I stopped for old times sake to get a large ice cream cone. 🍦 it was funny as we rushed to eat the ice cream sitting outside before it melted. We were two adults that looked like messy kids. We had a good laugh and a blast! Their food and service is always fantastic. It is worth the drive to eat any meal. Thank you. 🙂

Great Food, Staff, and Prices. Strongly recommend.

We always have a good experience here. The staff is prompt and friendly. The food is amazing. I love the catfish and the hush puppies. The ice cream is "old-fashioned" good. I love the fried pies, too. This isn't a fancy chain restaurant, but it is hometown good.

Had the 3 piece fish plate. It was absolutely the best fish I've had in a long time. Homemade hush puppies. Not store bought. Very busy at noon, yet prompt and courteous service. Awesome place to eat.

Down home yummy goodness! This place is fantastic! Best food we had on our whole trip was right here in this little restaurant! My friend, who traveled with us, wants to move there so he can eat at Dairy King every day for lunch! Catfish sandwich and breaded chicken sandwich! Both excellent choices!!

Have been here so many times , and still continue to come here when passing through....it's a great place to stop off and eat...it doesn't matter what you order to eat here...anything ! , it's all good food ! Can't go wrong stopping off here anytime !

Great lil spot to stop, right between jonesboro and hardy, good parking lot and easy to get back on the road!
