Pole Creek Trailhead

Super easy uphill over a long distance. First you enter a burned forest which is beautiful! Later you reach the forest which was saved. Views of Sisters Mountains throughout the hike. Several creek crossings too.

Nice trailhead. Great views of Sister Mountains. Clean bathroom. It was too hot on the day we visited to hike. Will be back another time.

I used this trailhead for an attempt to summit North Sister. I made it to the bowling alley but didn't climb up the summit block. A fire passed through the area so shade is minimal. There is access to several areas in the sisters wilderness from this trailhead. Self issued permits at trail head for day use. Overnight use requires a permit.

Parking lot was full but only saw three groups. Great weather and very scenic

Beautiful scenery. Easy hike for most of it. Slow elevation gain for a while.

The first part goes through a burn area, but offers great views of the Three Sisters along the way. The trail isn't very hard but remember to have your Forest Service parking permit. I recommend the yearly pass to save money.

Busy on the weekends. Get there early for parking.

An amazing place to backpack. We camped at Demaris Lake. Incredibly beautiful with both South and North Sister towering above the trees.

The trail is gorgeous once you get past the controlled burn area. Highly recommended

Couldn't see the mountains before the big fire. Now, what a view.

It's about 30-40mins from Sisters Downtown.
