This place is beautiful!! You cannot beat these views. Service was also outstanding. Everyone was so welcoming. Our waitress, Susie, was very attentive, sweet & did a great job. Food at breakfast time was so-so...we had the buffet & it was good, just nothing to write home about. At lunch, we also had the buffet & it was delicious!! They had fish, chicken fried steak, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, all different veggies & some amazing deserts. Would definitely recommend it here.

Beautiful building, first off! The architecture is stunning and very well done!
Food was delicious. I had the smothered chicken, a bit dry since I asked for the BBQ on the side but not bad. Got the salad bar and fries as sides. Salad bar is not overflowing with topping options, could use craisins, bacon bits, sunflower seeds etc.
Bacon Gouda fries appetizer was very good!
Other dishes my party ordered included: spin dip and chips, Reuben, steak, burger. Everyone said it was good👍🏻
The only con was that in the evening as the sun sets there's no way to get out of the sun in a few spots, and no shades on the big windows to help, a few at our table had to get creative with where they put their heads til the sun was past the bigger windows.
All in all a good experience 👍🏻

Sitting and eating and checking out the amazing view from the restaurant is jaw dropping, the Lodge is an amazing building to check and rooms look nice.

The salmon I had was delicious, and so were the green beans, rice pilaf, and mashed potatoes. Usually when I order green beans at a restaurant I expect them to come out bland or undercooked, or canned, but these were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I very much appreciated that the menu included a veggie burger in addition to its meat options, which my husband said he enjoyed along with the sweet potato fries. And you can’t beat the view!

I don’t know when I’ve had a steak cooked so perfectly! Tasted even better than it looks. Prices are very reasonable, especially for what you get. I’ve paid over $100 per person at other steak places and left dissatisfied. Not this time. Can’t beat the atmosphere. I’m from out of state and this is definitely worth the drive.

The food was moderately priced I actually expected higher prices was quite surprised. they had beer specials, a good selection on the menu and a lot of homemade items. I was really happy with my dinner I enjoyed it completely the staff was helpful friendly and on time. gave great recommendations in the area were very knowledgeable and just made my dining experience quite fun. Definitely would eat here again not to mention the view was pretty amazing.

Preston was a great server! The view is awesome even on a cloudy day.

The food and service were very good. The best thing is you can enjoy the gorgeous view while you have meals.

Views are amazing!!! I can't say enough about this place. Even if you don't stay at the lodge its worth going. We camped in our rv. The people are friendly, views are so beautiful, the food was really good and reasonably priced. If you drink wine chose a local one, try are great. If you like a cab get the one from mount Bethal winery. We had the prime rib dinner, it was $9 per person!! Large portions and delicious. Great service. I even got a t-shirt on the sale rack at the hotel for $9. It's a luxury resort restaurant at normal restaurant prices. Its worth the drive up the mountain.

The food here is great but the price is as expected being the only place to get food up on the big Ol’ mountain. There is plenty of variety and the atmosphere is great. The servers are fast and friendly and I would recommend the food. The best part is the view that comes along with the meal. Amongst the top in the state. If you come to visit this beautiful place, I would definitely stop by here.

This restaurant at the lodge has amazing service the servers are very attentive. The food was delicious buffet style besides omelets are separate. The view was just perfect ❤. You will love this place the huge log and stone lodge is just right to wake up to grab a bite.

Beautiful view restaurant in the world

My rating is based on the incredible view and service! We happened in right at sunset, got seated by the windows, and had a lovely few hours watching the colors. Service was great! There was also a huge fireplace with a fire. I just got a basic one trip salad bar, it was fine. Wine was good. My hubby got chicken strips which were also acceptable. Overall we had an amazing visit!!!

I had the seasoup in the bread bowl, my friend had potato soup in bread bowl both were absolutely amazing. Great service and excellent views all around.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner...all GREAT!!! The only reason 5-star for service is because of typical service industry shortage, but the service you do receive are from some very dedicated and hard working people doing the best they can.

The food was pretty good here... at least most of the time Iiked what I ordered. Its pretty hard to hit a home run every time you swing, especially when you are serving such a variety of people. I liked some of the seafood and some of the American food. The breakfast and supper buffet is what I preferred because I could see what was available before I decided to get it. Unfortunately they don't have a lunch buffet. You have order for lunch. Fewer people come here for lunch. The views from the back window are beautiful, so my family tried to sit there when it was available.
We stayed here through the 4rth of July expecting to watch fireworks from the back of the hotel where the restaurant is, but the shows that we saw were so far away we didn't enjoy them. Maybe we should have brought binoculars. The bathrooms here were always in great shape and just like any state run facility it was very handicap accessable. They were pretty far away from the seating area where parents would probably want to escort their children. The resteraunt is also a long walk from the hotel through the dark basement, so I recommend staying upstairs as long as you can rather than going by the storm shelter. However everyone else did the same thing so we had to wait a minute in line for the elevator. The restaurant is located in the back walk out basement of the hotel. You might enjoy just walking around the back sidewalk where you can enjoy the views so much better. Walking in the front door of the hotel the restaurant is located towards the back right.

Wonderful food and very friendly staff. Worth the drive even if you aren't staying at the lodge itself. Went on a Saturday morning and the place was practically empty. Got a window seat and the view was absolutely beautiful. Will make this a regular stop.

I will start with mesmerizing view from outside. Experienced staff who figures out what you would like just but little chit chat. Fabulous food even for vegetarians. Tomato soup blew my mind as it was spicy I was not expecting such spicy in an American restaurant. By spicy I meant flavor of spices not the one that just hit to burn your taste buds. Honey butter and bread while you wait is something you can't stop eating both melted in mouth. Chocolate cake was too chocolaty but not too sweet and portion was too generous. Drive is though country side and as if really remote but lovely in the end.
