Mercy Hospital Paris

I was initially concerned about going here while on my vacation. It showed only 2.5 stars and when we pulled up, it is a very small facility.
Well, looks can be deceiving. The care and professionalism of this little gem was summer of the best care I have ever received in an E.R. The Dr., Doctor Pece, was so thorough. She even cared about the side effects of the medication she was prescribing and told me what to do to prevent any ill effects. She told me exactly what to watch for and WHY it was important to take this medication with a full glass of water.
My only regret is that I cannot go to this doctor and her nurse as my G.P. What a care team! Marcus Welby move over! Paris, Arkansas.. you are so blessed to have such an incredible facility. If I could give 10 stars, I would. How this facility only has a 2.5 star rating, is beyond me and definitely NOT CORRECT.

I never caught the name of the nurse who probably saved my husband from death, but if she(or he) didn't transfer my husband to mercy in ft smith there is a very high possibility I would be a widow! To start about a week ago my husband suddenly was riddled with intense pain in his upper right abdomen, we went to mercy hospital in Booneville AR just to be told it was just a stomach bug, his primary care doctor ram tests but never got back to us, well on Thurs morning (12am) my father in law brought him to mercy er in Paris, while I am not sure what tests were done the nurse ended up transferring him to mercy er in ft smith, the call that saved him, after 12 more painstaking hours finally the mercy in ft smith prepped my husband for surgery. My husband's gallbladder was littered with gangrene and not even functional too much longer and gangrene would begin to kill my husband from the inside, they had to remove his gallbladder at the ft smith mercy hospital, that call to transfer my husband cause she(or he) felt like there was more to it then just a stomach bug do I will be forever greatful for the fast thinking of this nurse

Just had 3 day stay at hospital.all personal very helpful and had very good care, doctor s were great,when went in almost incapacitated,had diagnosed and feeling better by next morning had cloritis if you have ever had you will understand problems associate d with problem, I felt they did not take a lot of unnecessary test would highly recommend.

They took care of us in a very kind and professional manner.

Clinic is good otherwise slow moving

The lady doing the check in was a grouch!

Had requested a 2nd opinion.The requested was met with opposition and was answered by the same doct I was given the fist opinion from.other nursing staff was kind and helpful through my stay.

If giving zero stars was an option I definitely would giving this place the credit of one star is being to generous. Dr. Buckley told me that my two year old running a 104.2 fever since 9am was not an appropriate reason to bring her into the er that she needed to go to the regular doctor and I was “wasting his time.” Save yourself the wait time stay at home and take your chances of dying at home.

Had to go in 3 days in a row before they decided that they didn't know what was wrong with me and sent me children's hospital in little rock where I was told that if I hadn't come in when I did there was a very strong likelihood that I would have died the next day. The clinic said I was fine and sent me home the first day and the second gave me stomach medication then the third took my blood and said they had no idea what was wrong with it but it definitely wasn't normal and then sent me to children's.

Im very dissappointed on a visit my best friend had there with Doctor Rachelle Hunt, my friend was the only one there n was called back 30 minutes later than appointment was scheduled for, after in room she again waited 30minites, for Dr.Hunt to come in from across the room said "YOU PROBABLY EAT TO MUCH SALT, SO U SHOULD PROBABLY STOP THAT, PROBABLY HAVE A LITTLE ARTHRITIS", I FEEL SHE DIDNT CARE ABOUT MY BESTFRIEND AS A PERSON. I AM CONCERNED BC MY FRIEND DONT COMPLAIN ABOUT THINGS HURTING, she has been n alot of pain n only one of her legs hurt its so swollen nits clear i seen it, its not salt or all of her would swell, and arthritis, everyone in my fam has it and tests were done to determine it. So they were prescribed medication for it, so why was that done for my friend? Why exactly is Dr.Hunt not concerned about the fact she could have a blood clot, which could kill her? I think she is a Bad Person that should be investigated or her license pulled.. That is a Person Who is Loved, a friend, a mother, a daughter, a sister and She Matters to Me and alot of others

Takes forever and it seems like there not equipped for Emergencies if you break your arm or your shoulder they just give you a sling and pain meds then tell you to get in touch with someone that can cast it but that takes 2 weeks or more

Smashed my hand at work really bad avulsion between my thumb and index finger. Sat in waiting room pumping blood into my make shift bandage for 2.5hours. I left and went to Van Buren. Paris is nothing more than a camp nurse.

Clinic is useless. Hours are posted as 8 - 5 daily, but when I arrived, there was no doctor on duty to see anyone. The receptionist said she doesnt usually work there and had no clue how to direct me. Why even be open? Running joke in my family is "Its Paris!"

Called to check on a family member at the hospital, the receptionist was so rude on the phone. Sounded like she loved her job.
